Nystagmus is a rhythmic oscillatory movement of one or both eyes around one or more axes. The movements can be pendulum-like (rhythmic) or jerky (with oscillation phases of different speeds).
Nystagmus is a severe form of oculomotor disorders, manifested in spontaneous oscillatory movements of the eyes and accompanied by a significant decrease in visual acuity - low vision. The development of nystagmus can be caused by the influence of central or local factors.

According to currently accepted criteria, nosocomial pneumonia (NP) includes only cases of infectious lung damage that develops no earlier than 48 hours after the patient’s admission to a medical facility.

Nosocomial (from Latin nosocomium - hospital and Greek nosokomeo - to care for the sick) infection is any clinically recognizable infectious disease that develops in a patient as a result of his/her visit to a hospital for medical care or stay in it.
