Inflammations that lead to a change in the number of white blood cells are caused by different pathogens and causes.

Only specific infections of the genitourinary tract are treated with drugs of different groups - antibacterial, antiparasitic, antimycotics, antiviral drugs.

By no means always the causative agents of inflammatory diseases are transmitted through sexual contact. For example, with dysbacteriosis, it is necessary, first of all, to restore vaginal microbiocenosis. And the antibiotic treatment that helped your girlfriend achieve a normal white blood cell count in the smear can only hurt in case of a dysbacteriosis.

When detecting sexually transmitted infections, a course of systemic antibiotics is prescribed. The choice of the drug is based on the origin of urethritis or vaginitis, as well as the sensitivity of the pathogen.

The most popular antibiotics with elevated leukocytes in the smear Doxycycline, Azithromycin, Josamycin and fluoroquinolones belonging to the third and fourth generation, active against chlamydia, ureaplasma, mycoplasma, cocci and mixed infections. The drugs of choice are Doxycycline and macrolides, and fluoroquinolones are used in the defeat of mycobacterium tuberculosis.

With gonorrhea, the drug of choice is Ceftriaxone, Bicillin and Amoxicillin, the eradication of syphilis pathogens is carried out by the latest penicillin drugs, macrolides and tetracyclines. These infections are very serious and their treatment is often done in a hospital and under the supervision of a doctor. As a rule, not one preparation is used, but at least two.

Semisynthetic macrolide  Azithromycin  is the preferred drug in the treatment of chlamydia, a very common sexually transmitted infection. This is due to several reasons, firstly, the ability to cure the infection with a single dose (it is easy to comply with all the rules); secondly, it is active against many combined infectious agents, in particular ureaplasma, mycoplasma, gonococci, staphylococci and streptococci, guardenella, clostridia and even to treponeme pallidum - the causative agent of syphilis. In addition to bacteriostatic, antibiotics of this group have the ability to stimulate immunity somewhat and inhibit the activity of proinflammatory mediators.

Josamycin, a  representative of the same class of antibiotics, has a natural origin and a higher activity than the previous one. Unlike other macrolides, practically does not depress the beneficial microflora of the gastrointestinal tract. Resistance to it develops less often than to other representatives of this group. Used in the treatment of pregnant women.

Tetracycline antibiotic  Doxycycline  is also prescribed quite often in inflammatory diseases of the genito-urinary organs. Since to the drugs of this series many pathogens have already developed resistance, it is recommended to use in primary patients with uncomplicated disease. Has a wide range of activity, in particular, to chlamydia, gonococcus, staphylococcus, streptococcus, Escherichia coli. It is the widespread resistance of pathogens to antibiotics of the tetracycline series.

Fluorinated quinolones are considered reserve drugs and are used in cases where the previous ones are not effective. They show bactericidal action - they inhibit the enzymatic activity of two microbial topoisomerases of the second type, which are necessary for the vital activity of bacteria - the process of realizing their genetic information (DNA biosynthesis). For example, second-generation  drugs NorfloxacinOfloxacin,  or  Ciprofloxacin  show protivogonokokkovoy and antichlamydia activity, destroy the majority of Gram-negative bacteria, are used to treat urogenital infections. Ureaplasma, in most cases, is insensitive to these drugs. If the mixed infection includes this pathogen, then  Levofloxacin  or  Sparfloxacin,  belonging to the third generation of this group of antibiotics, are used.

With trichomoniasis, antiparasitic agents (derivatives of 5-nitroimidazole) - Tinidazole, Ornidazole, Metronidazole - are used. If it is necessary to eradicate several pathogens, for example, trichomoniasis and chlamydia or ureaplasma, also trichomoniasis is often combined with gonorrhea, then antibiotics are injected into the therapeutic regimen (usually macrolides are chosen). Fluoroquinolones do not combine with the derivatives of 5-nitroimidazole, since in this combination the toxicity of both drugs increases.

In candidiasis of the genito-urinary organs, antifungal medicines are used both topically and orally, with severe forms, visceral and disseminated, using drip infusions. The drug of choice is Fluconazole, which is highly bioavailable and effective in any form of the process, applied topically, orally and intravenously. Its main advantage is the absence of toxicity and rare cases of side effects.

Genital herpes, the most common viral infection, is incurable. In this case it is necessary to inactivate the virus. For this, local and oral forms of antiviral drugs based on Acyclovir are used.

Preparations, their dosage and duration of treatment are prescribed only by the doctor individually, depending on the diagnosis and the state of health of the patient.

If the inflammation is not released, often limited to local treatment, in more severe cases, the treatment of the suppository is combined with oral dosage forms.

Suppositories or suppositories are one of the dosage forms, consisting of a base material capable of keeping the shape at room temperature of air, melting from the heat of the human body, and a drug substance that is rapidly not metabolized in the liver, enters the bloodstream. Half an hour later, approximately half the dose is found in the blood, and after an hour - the drug circulates in the blood almost completely. In addition, absorbed, the medicinal substance of the suppository, introduced intravaginally, in addition to the systemic effect acts on the inflammation focus externally. The use of suppositories virtually eliminates side effects, including allergies, and to introduce them independently is not difficult.

Anti-inflammatory suppositories, which are most often prescribed for leukocytosis in a vaginal scrap:

Hexicon  is an active component of the antiseptic chlorhexidine bigluconate. Is active in the causative agents of infections of the genitourinary sphere: syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, ureaplasmosis, trichomoniasis, also - is active towards the proteus. Assigned with erosion of the cervix, vaginitis of bacterial origin. When using suppositories, it is not recommended to wash with soap, as it neutralizes the effect of the active ingredient. Can be prescribed to pregnant women. A local reaction may occur in the form of irritation. With thrush, the use of Geksicon is ineffective. Suppositories are administered intravaginally twice a day for about a week, the maximum period of use is 20 days.

Terzhinan  - vaginal tablets, providing a complex action due to the content of four active ingredients:

  • Ternidazole - possessing bactericidal activity against anaerobic bacteria, in particular, Gardenerella, and also - is active in the simplest (Trichomonas);
  • Nystatin - an antifungal drug, is active against yeast fungi;
  • Neomycin sulfate - an antibiotic from a number of aminoglycosides, has a bactericidal effect on staphylococci, Escherichia coli and other gram-negative pyogenic bacteria;
  • Prednisolone sodium metasulfobenzoate - has an anti-inflammatory effect at the injection site.

Candles, in addition to these actions, prevent the destruction of the vaginal epithelium and help normalize the acid-base balance in the vagina. In the first three months of pregnancy, these suppositories are not prescribed, later - according to the indications. Apply once or twice a day for a week or ten days. Fungus is treated for up to 20 days.

Metronidazole  - a derivative of 5-nitroimidazole, has a pronounced activity to the simplest (trichomonads and amoebae) and some bacteria (clostridia, peptostreptococcus, fusobacteria). It is indicated for use in trichomoniasis and nonspecific vaginitis. The active ingredient is incompatible with ethyl alcohol and disulfiram. Immobilizes treponemy, which can distort the results of Nelson's trial. During pregnancy is prescribed only for life indications.

With trichomoniasis, suppositories are administered twice a day for a decade simultaneously with the administration of tablets with the same active substance.

Nonspecific vaginitis is treated with the same dose for a week.

It is recommended to start treatment from the first days of the menstrual cycle. Do not use the drug for more than ten days and not more than two to three times a year.

Betadine  is an active ingredient of povidone-iodine, an antiseptic that destroys bacteria, fungi and their spores, viruses and protozoa. Most microbes die in the first seconds of contact with iodine, the main effect occurs during the first half of the minute. Iodine is discolored. Stability of microorganisms to iodine is not produced. Due to the combination of iodine with polymer polyvinylpyrolidone, the action of the drug is prolonged. Application is shown for bacterial, fungal, trichomonas and mixed colpitis and vaginitis.

For patients with thyroid dysfunction, the use of suppositories is contraindicated, since during the course of treatment a significant amount of iodine enters the body and is also not prescribed for dermatitis and renal insufficiency. It is undesirable to use in pregnant women, especially from the third month of bearing, are not prescribed for women planning to become a mother, since the suppositories of betadine have a spermicidal effect.

Suppositories are administered once a day for not more than a week. Sometimes a doctor can prescribe two injections per day or extend the course for another seven days. Enter daily, without interruption for the period of menstruation.

Clotrimazole  - is available in the form of vaginal tablets, mainly prescribed for candidiasis. Fungicidal activity of the drug is most pronounced, however, it also acts on Trichomonas, Staphylococcus, Streptococci and Gardenerella. Clotrimazole has not shown teratogenicity in studies, however, in the first trimester it is not recommended to prescribe. Recommended course: one tablet intravaginally in the morning and evening for three days or only overnight for six days.

Any drug can cause a local allergic reaction in patients sensitized to it.

During the treatment, patients are recommended to take vitamins C and E, as well as group B, to maintain immunity, stimulate ovarian function. Vitamin-mineral complexes can be prescribed.

After carrying out anti-inflammatory therapy, both local and systemic, suppositories with lacto- and bifidobacteria are prescribed to restore vaginal microflora. With dysbacteriosis, they are also prescribed to restore normal microflora.

Prophylaxis of overgrowth of cords from the connective tissue is carried out with the help of Longidas candles  ,  which, moreover, restore the disturbed immunity, bind free radicals and suppress residual inflammation. Suppositories are used rectally at night for at least two to three weeks.

Physiotherapeutic treatment of gynecological diseases allows to reduce doses of drugs and accelerate recovery, as well as - to prevent relapses, the appearance of adhesions. Appointments are strictly individual, because there are contraindications, for example, thermal procedures are not prescribed for benign and malignant tumors, endometrial overgrowths, bleeding. In the appointment, the age and general condition of the patient are also taken into account. Used in the treatment of magnetic fields, electric current, mud, baths, showers, gynecological massage.

Alternative treatment

With inflammatory processes in the urogenital tract caused by sexually transmitted infectious agents, it is doubtful to cope with the help of alternative prescriptions, nonspecific inflammations of the urogenital organs and tumors also need medical treatment. Independently using the znakhar recipes, trying to be cured exclusively at home, it is possible to retrain the symptoms and achieve chronic inflammation, complicating the subsequent diagnosis. Nevertheless, many doctors include in the treatment scheme the use of decoctions and infusions of medicinal plants for local and internal use. So we recommend not to engage in amateur activities, and consult with your doctor about the use of alternative means.

When urethritis is recommended to squeeze juice from the stems of fresh parsley with leaves and roots. They are well cleaned, crushed and squeezed out juice. You do not need a lot of juice for a serving, just a tablespoon. Fresh from parsley has a diuretic effect and disinfects the urinary tract, contains carotene, ascorbic and nicotinic acid, vitamins B1, B2, and K. It is taken on an empty stomach in the morning when the body is on the mend, however, future mothers and people with urethritis complicated presence of concrements, such treatment is not recommended.

Infusion of fresh parsley can be used by everyone, except those who have allergies to parsley. Prepare it is simple: first you need to boil 400ml of water. It does not need to boil intensely. Well, pour the parsley overnight, and in the morning start drinking. You need to drink the whole portion during the day. In the evening, prepare a new one.

Gynecologic inflammations in the home are treated with douching. Herbal infusion for this procedure for the first time should have a temperature of 36 to 37 ℃, then every day it is increased by a degree to 45 or 48 ℃. Douching is performed until the symptoms disappear completely. Recommended formulations for the procedures:

  • crushed leaves of plantain in the volume of a tablespoon and as many flowers of chamomile medicinal insist 60 minutes in 400 ml of boiling water;

  • broth of dogrose can also be used for douching, procedures are carried out in the morning and in the evening, for which three tablespoons of dried fruits are ground and poured with a liter of boiling water in a thermos before going to bed and for a day.

Douching can be done only after consulting a doctor, since this procedure is contraindicated during menstruation, after childbirth and abortion (diagnostic curettage), during pregnancy and with acute inflammation. The maximum gynecologist can resolve up to ten procedures, and more often - and altogether five.

Treatment of herbs inflammatory gynecological diseases according to alternative recipes can consist in the reception of broths and infusions, for example, from blueberries and blackberries (dry). One tablespoon of berries are covered in an enamel pot, poured 200ml of boiling water and boiled over low heat for ten minutes. All portion should be used on a tablespoon during the day with berries.

It is recommended to make sessile baths with pine branches (100g of raw material per 10 liters of water, boil for 30 minutes). Instead of twigs, you can take as many flowers of chamomile, calendula or celandine grass.

When the ovaries fail to function and the estrogen production is insufficient, they drink an infusion of mother-and-stepmother (10 parts) and sweet clover (1 part). Phyto-mixture in the volume of a tablespoon brew 200ml of steep boiling water and insist for a quarter of an hour on a hot, but not boiling, water bath. Cool and drain. Drink half the glass three times a day.

Vaccinations with chamomile are also recommended. The procedure is done in this order. Brew 1,5 tablespoons of flowers 200ml of boiling water and let stand for ½ hour. While the daisy is insisted, it is necessary to make an enema with warm boiled water. After - it is good to strain through several layers of gauze infusion of chamomile (its temperature should not be above 37 ℃). Make a camomile infusion enema and lie with it for forty minutes on its side. This procedure is recommended to be done three to four times during the day.

Healing completely without the use of any means inward offers an alternative Indian treatment - yoga-therapy. The best way out is by training under the guidance of an experienced trainer or yoga therapist. However, it is possible to study some poses independently, for example, contribute to the restoration of ovarian function and the normalization of the hormonal background of Buddha Konasan (posture of the Bounded Angle), Trikonasana (Triangle Pose) and Virasan (Hero's Pose). For independent training, the technique of execution can be found on the Internet. Gradually mastering several poses and practicing for 15 minutes a day, within a month you will notice an improvement in your condition. The course of training on the system "yoga" is quite possible to normalize the hormonal balance of the body, which manifests itself in the stabilization of the menstrual cycle and the absence of other unpleasant symptoms. And it is quite compatible with the reception of medicinal, herbal, homeopathic preparations, with the time of necessity the reception of which will disappear by itself. It has long been proven that the impact on certain muscle groups affects the condition of internal organs.
