Release form

Aerosol for burns Olazol. Active ingredients:

  • sea buckthorn oil - a natural anti-inflammatory and wound healing agent with a mild antibacterial effect;
  • Chloramphenicol (levomycetin) is a broad-spectrum antibiotic;
  • benzocaine (anesthesin) - a local anesthetic that helps block the formation and conduction of nerve impulses;
  • Boric acid (orthoboric acid) - has disinfectant properties.

Auxiliary ingredients: dehydrated wool wax, triethylamine, stearic acid, distilled propane-1,2,3-triol, purified water, freon. Manufactured in aluminum aerosol cans of 60 or 80 g (with a plastic continuous spray cap). The original factory cardboard box contains 1 can, instructions for use of the product, and a replaceable working cap.

Pharmacodynamics

It has a local anesthetic effect due to the presence of benzocaine in the active components, causes disruption of protein synthesis in microorganisms, thereby inhibiting their growth and reproduction (benzocaine, boric acid), and accelerates regeneration (sea buckthorn oil).

Pharmacokinetics

When applied locally, it is absorbed insignificantly and does not have a pronounced systemic effect on the body.

Dosing and administration

It is applied externally, locally. The wound surface should be pre-treated (cleaned of pus, crusts). Apply evenly with a thickness of 10-15 mm. Use every day or every other day.

For the treatment of wounds and burns: adults are prescribed the drug 1 to 4 times a day; children over two years of age are recommended to use it once or twice a day, depending on the degree of inflammation, tissue damage, and wound epithelialization. The course of therapy varies from 7 to 14 days.

Before applying, shake the can well (10-15 times). First, replace the protective cap with a working one. Turn the spray hole towards the surface being treated. The thickness of the foam is adjusted by pressing the cap. For quick and complete coverage of the wound surface, it is recommended to spray the spray at a distance of 1-5 cm from the damage. Press the spray nozzle until you feel a stop and immediately stop pressing, 7 ml of foam (approximately 1.4 g of the drug) will be released from the can, this is enough to cover a wound or burn surface of 100 cm 2.

Reviews

Here are some reviews from the world wide web about Olazole:

Excellent product. For large lesions, the foam product is very convenient. Thanks to sea buckthorn oil, wounds heal faster. The painkiller at the initial stage of treatment perfectly relieves pain. Unlike expensive imported analogues, the dispenser works great. At the moment, Olazol foam is an excellent product in terms of price-quality ratio.

We were at the dacha with the kids, set up a table in the garden and got ready for tea. The kids were carrying plates, cups, and cookies. But then the eldest, he is 6, wanted to bring a kettle with boiling water, but did not notice a pebble on the path, tripped, and fell. It is good that the kettle flew far away, and the water from it only got on his hand. There was a severe burn with blisters. We did not have anything suitable for this situation with us. We ran to the neighbors. It is good that Aunt Masha had an aerosol Olazol. She used it herself to treat skin ulcers. It relieved the pain quite quickly. Then we went to the doctor, and he said that it should be used further for 3 days. Now everything is fine, there are not even any scars left.

Cool spray Olazol. It helps with oil burns, I tested it on myself. I was frying cutlets and when I was turning them over, one slipped and fell into the boiling fat, which splashed on my finger, the pain was terrible. I took the spray. Sprayed. Beauty! Doesn't hurt! Then I sprayed for another 4 days. Olazol is a cool remedy for burns.

Various painful injuries (burns, cuts) are frequent companions in our lives. Here, the drug Olazol with its wide range of action will be indispensable. Reviews on its use are mostly positive. The product is quite popular.

The reviews note that using the spray for several days allows the treatment to be completed much faster and more successfully. After all, it is known that you cannot apply oil or greasy ointments to open burns. Olazol for burns in these cases will become an indispensable assistant. Based on reviews, it is one of the best products in this area.
