Arsenic comp is a homeopathic remedy that includes several active components. Here is its composition:

  1. Acidum arsenicosum (Arsenicum album) - also known as white arsenic. In homeopathy, it is used to treat a variety of chronic conditions, including digestive disorders, anxiety, and skin conditions.
  2. Secale cornutum is an extract of ergot used in homeopathy to treat bleeding, especially uterine bleeding, as well as vascular diseases.
  3. Iodum (Iodine) - used to treat thyroid problems, inflammatory diseases and improve metabolism.
  4. Acidum phosphoricum (Phosphoric acid) - used in homeopathy to treat weakness, physical and mental exhaustion, depression.
  5. Lycopodium clavatum (Lycopodium) is a plant used to treat chronic liver diseases, digestive problems, and various skin diseases.

Homeopathic preparations are prepared by repeated dilution and shaking of active substances, which, according to homeopathic theory, enhances their medicinal properties, despite the extremely low concentration of active components.

Arsenic comp can be prescribed to treat various chronic diseases, improve general health and strengthen the immune system. However, it is important to note that the effectiveness of homeopathic medicines is often a subject of debate in the medical community and their use should be discussed with a qualified physician.

Pharmacodynamics

  • Acidum arsenicosum (Arsenicum album) - has anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory and detoxifying effects. Used in homeopathy for the treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases and chronic fatigue.
  • Secale cornutum - used for circulatory disorders, especially vascular pathologies associated with diabetes. Can improve microcirculation and reduce the risk of thrombosis.
  • Iodum - helps normalize metabolism and affects thyroid function. Used for endocrine disorders, including diabetes.
  • Acidum phosphoricum - has a general tonic effect, improves energy metabolism and reduces the symptoms of psycho-emotional exhaustion, often found in patients with diabetes.

Pharmacokinetics

  • Absorption: Homeopathic medicines are usually taken sublingually (under the tongue) or orally. When taken sublingually, the active ingredients are quickly absorbed through the oral mucosa, bypassing the gastrointestinal tract and providing rapid access to the bloodstream.
  • Distribution: Due to the high dilutions of homeopathic remedies, the distribution of active substances in the body occurs at the molecular level and is assumed to affect the body by stimulating physiological and biochemical processes.
  • Metabolism: The metabolism of homeopathic preparations in the body has not been sufficiently studied, since the concentrations of active substances are very small. It is assumed that the metabolism of such preparations occurs similarly to the metabolism of endogenous substances.
  • Elimination: Since the active components of homeopathic preparations are present in very small concentrations, their elimination from the body is likely to occur quickly and without accumulation in tissues. Metabolic products are eliminated through the kidneys, liver, skin and lungs.
