Pharmacodynamics

The medicine has a pronounced phlebotonic and angioprotective effect. In addition, it helps to correct microcirculation disorders that affect the change in capillary and vascular membranes. The medicine has a tonic effect on the walls of blood vessels, and in addition, it strengthens the strength of capillaries. By significantly reducing the size of pores inside the walls of blood vessels, Venoruton helps to stabilize their permeability for the passage of lipids along with liquids.

Venoruton therapy leads to the restoration of the healthy structure of the vascular endothelium, as well as its functional activity. By suppressing the activation mechanisms of action, as well as neutrophil adhesion, the drug has an anti-inflammatory effect. At the same time, the rutosides contained in it suppress the activity and release of mediators of inflammatory processes.

In addition, the drug has antioxidant properties due to the action of individual mechanisms. Rutosides weaken the oxidative activity of oxygen, suppress the peroxidative process in relation to lipids, and also protect vascular tissues, preventing the possibility of developing hypochlorous acid activity together with free radicals.

The medication improves blood rheological parameters, thereby reducing erythrocyte aggregation and stabilizing their deformation. This factor is extremely important in eliminating chronic venous insufficiency, as well as deep venous thrombosis. Due to the anticonvulsant, anti-edematous and analgesic effects, microcirculation is stabilized, which saves patients from the appearance of varicose ulcers and trophic disorders in the chronic stage of venous insufficiency.

The medicine helps improve the general health of people who suffer from inflammation in the hemorrhoidal veins, as well as relieve itching with bleeding, and also pain in hemorrhoids. By affecting the capillary membranes, as well as the rheological characteristics of the blood, Venoruton prevents the development of microthrombi and reduces the likelihood of various deviations of vascular origin.

Oral use of the drug leads to an improvement in the health of people with diabetes, as it slows down the development of diabetic retinopathy.

Pharmacokinetics

When applied externally, the active component penetrates the epidermis. The medicine then penetrates the subcutaneous layer and dermis, but it cannot be detected inside the blood. Peak values inside the dermis are reached 0.5-1 hour after application; inside the subcutaneous layer, the substance is detected after 2-3 hours.

When penetrating the body, the medicine is weakly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract - this figure is about 10-15%. Peak indicators in the blood plasma are noted after 4-5 hours, even in the case of taking a single dose of the medicine.

The half-life of the active element is approximately 10-25 hours. Metabolic processes lead to the production of glucuronidated components.

The excretion of the drug occurs with feces, bile, and urine - both the unchanged element and the products of its metabolism are excreted.

Reviews

Venoruton is a fairly discussed drug. Most comments contain positive feedback on the effectiveness of the drug. Many patients suffering from various forms of lymphovenous insufficiency note that their well-being improves significantly after using the drug.

Patients often write about the high efficiency of the gel. Often, such reviews are associated with the stabilization of venous disorders in the legs. In addition, there is data on the weakening of the signs of exacerbation of hemorrhoids - the effect of the gel made it possible to accelerate this process many times.

The drug is often mentioned by pregnant women – it is often prescribed to them to eliminate fetoplacental insufficiency, and in addition to this, for venous outflow disorders (due to pressure exerted by the fetus on the vessels). In such cases, the use of capsules or other forms of drugs should be discontinued several weeks before the expected date of birth.

Doctors often advise patients to use Venoruton. It is believed that it is an excellent treatment for venous insufficiency and, in particular, hemorrhoids.

The drug is considered one of the most powerful venotonics. But it should be taken into account that even it needs to be combined with additional factors - such as lifestyle changes with diet, wearing special compression underwear, and also the use of other drugs and procedures that have a positive effect on veins and lymphatic vessels. Only such an approach will provide the required medicinal effect.
