Ipertrofan is a medicine with the active ingredient mepartricin. It is an antibiotic with anti-dysuric activity; it helps to stabilize prostate function. It is usually used in case of disorders of urinary function, which develop due to benign prostatic hyperplasia. [1]
The medicine stabilizes the urinary passage in the case of prostate adenoma, weakens nocturia with pollakiuria and urge to urinate, and also reduces the volumes of residual urine. [2]

It is used in case of violations of urinary activity , provoked by the existing hyperplasia of the prostate (benign variety).
Release form
The release of drugs is sold in tablets with a volume of 40 mg. The pack contains 20 of these tablets.
Pharmacodynamics
The drug irreversibly synthesizes sterols inside the gastrointestinal tract, slows down the reabsorption and absorption of fractions of these elements within the structure of the enterohepatic circulation, and in addition reduces the levels of estrogens and cholesterol with androgens inside the lumen of the prostate acinus (thereby eliminating one of the existing factors causing prostatic hyperplasia (benign type))... After oral administration, the drug is not absorbed, therefore it does not enter the systemic circulation.
Dosing and administration
The medicine is taken orally; it is recommended to take it with dinner - 1 tablet per day for a period of 30 days (longer cycles are prescribed by the doctor).
Contraindications
It is contraindicated to prescribe medication to people with pronounced personal sensitivity in relation to its constituent elements.
