Pharmacodynamics

The expectorant effect of the herb is based on the content of saponins in it, which irritate the bronchial mucosa, stimulating it to remove excess mucus outwards. Cyanosis contributes to the dilution of sputum, the transition of non-productive cough to productive coughing and softening of coughing attacks.

Contraindications

Blue-blue is a low-toxic plant, therefore it has very few contraindications. Absolute contraindication is considered a hypersensitivity to the grass. Caution should also be observed in hypertensive patients, as well as those with high coagulation rates and a tendency to form blood clots. Dosing and administration

In bronchitis, it is customary to use the root and rhizome of the herb as a therapeutic raw material, although the above-ground parts of the plant also have useful properties and are used in alternative treatment.

For the treatment of cough, it is recommended to take a decoction of cyanosis root, which is prepared from 1-2 tablespoons. Dry raw materials and 1 glass of water. Boil the broth should be covered in a water bath for half an hour. Filter after cooling and supplement with boiled water to the original volume.

The broth can be cooked and on an open fire. Boil the composition should be at least 15-20 minutes, after which you still need to insist it with the lid closed for about 10 minutes.

The infusion is prepared by taking the components in the same proportions. But the water is not taken cold, but boiling water. Insist the composition of half an hour, covered with a lid.

Take a decoction or infusion 4-5 times a day. It is better to do this after eating. Single dose - 1 tbsp. Treatment of acute bronchitis is carried out for 3-7 days, chronic - about a month.

Storage conditions

When using bronchitis, the compounds from the roots of the herb are used. It's about their preparation and we'll talk. The roots are digging in the autumn after the overground parts of the plant start to fade. The stems of the plant are cut, and large roots are cut into pieces.
