Lungwort (bear's or lung grass) is a plant that is often used to treat the bronchopulmonary system. It has an anti-inflammatory and expectorant effect in pneumonia, tuberculosis and bronchitis. It also has an anti-asthmatic effect, so the herb is also used to treat bronchial asthma.

For cough and bronchitis, a decoction of lungwort herb from 0.5 liters of water and 2 tablespoons of dry plant material is recommended. The decoction is boiled in a water bath for a quarter of an hour, after which it is continued to be infused in a warm place. After an hour from the start of preparation, the decoction can be filtered and taken warm before meals. A glass of decoction should be drunk in 3-4 doses.
In case of complicated bronchitis, bronchopneumonia and pneumonia, you can try treatment with a different composition. Take 1 liter of any beer for 2 tablespoons of dry grass, boil over the fire until the volume is reduced by half, add honey (1 tablespoon), cool and take three times a day before meals. Single dose - 5-10 ml. The medicine does not taste very pleasant, so it is recommended to wash it down with water.
