One of the most common reasons why pimples appear on the nose is a hormonal imbalance in the body. In most cases, this occurs during adolescence, as well as during the premenstrual period and during menstruation in females. Problems in the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract can also provoke the appearance of such troubles as pimples on the nose.

If pimples on the nose are located at the very tip, this may mean that there are problems with the cardiovascular system. If pimples on the nose are located on the bridge of the nose, there may be problems with the liver, resulting in insufficient blood purification.

If the pores on the nose are clogged with excess sebum, dead skin cells, as well as dust and dirt particles, this leads to the formation of comedones, the so-called blackheads. This can happen due to improper facial skin care, insufficient hygiene. To cleanse the skin, it is recommended to use special lotions, as well as twice a week to peel the face using masks and scrubs. For these procedures, you can use Clean&Clear;, Pure Control, Vichy, Johnson&Johnson;, Nivea and other lotions, decoctions for cleaning and wiping the skin based on chamomile, calendula, string, as well as hydrogen peroxide, levomycetin, tar soap, salicylic acid, zinc ointment. After cleansing procedures, moisturize the skin of the face and nose with liquid glycerin with the addition of a small amount of lemon juice. Squeezing pimples on the nose, as well as anywhere else, is strictly prohibited, as this only has a negative effect.

Folk remedies for acne on the nose

As a folk method of treating pimples on the nose, you can use various herbal decoctions, which can be easily found in any pharmacy. To prepare a herbal lotion, you can use, for example, calendula. The recipe for making calendula lotion is quite simple: for 2 tablespoons of calendula flowers, take a quarter of a glass of 40% alcohol and add a little water (about a fifth of a glass). Infuse the resulting mixture in a warm place, then add 4-5 grams of 5% boric acid solution (in alcohol), mix thoroughly and strain the liquid, then add a few drops of glycerin. You can use the prepared infusion three to four times a day, applying it to problem areas with a cotton swab. After use, cover the lotion tightly and store it in a cool, dark place until the next use. To prepare the lotion at home, you can also use celandine, chamomile, aloe, birch buds, etc.
