Darcil is a hepatoprotector that protects, promotes the treatment and recovery of the liver.

Darsil is available in the form of tablets.
Pharmacodynamics
Active component of Darsil is silymarin - a complex of flavonoids that fight in the liver with free radicals, do not allow to destroy cells, restore the hepatocyte membranes.
The drug promotes the synthesis of proteins in damaged hapatocytes, cell regeneration, prevents the loss of cellular elements.
In addition, Darsil inhibits the penetration of toxic substances for the liver (including poison pale toadstool).
The drug improves the overall well-being of patients, eliminates (or significantly reduces) a sense of weakness, pain in the hypochondrium, normalizes the functional state of the body.
Pharmacokinetics
Darsil has a low absorption, binding to blood proteins does not occur. The drug undergoes biotransformation in the liver, takes part in connective reactions, in which sulfates and glucuronides are formed.
Removal of the drug from the body is mainly a gallbladder, in the small intestine is absorption into the systemic circulation. The half-life is about 6 hours. The preparation practically does not accumulate in the body.

Dosing and administration
The medication is taken after a meal, the tablets can not be chewed or broken, it is better to drink better with a small amount of water.
Adults are usually given 1-2 tablets three times a day, children 5-12 years are prescribed 3 mg of silymarin per 1 kg of weight (the dose should be divided into several doses). Darcil was not tested on pregnant and breastfeeding women.
Contraindications

Side effects Darcy
Darcil can cause headaches, indigestion, bloating, heartburn, nausea, upset of the stool.

Overdose

Darsil must be stored in a dry place, protected from sunlight, the storage temperature should not be above 25 ° C.
Shelf life
