Daleron C has antipyretic effect, and also effectively removes the symptoms of fever (pain, aches, etc.). Typically, the drug is used to reduce high fever during colds.

Pharmacodynamics
The composition of Daleron C includes paracetamol and vitamin C.
Paracetamol effectively lowers the temperature and eliminates pain caused by fever. The antipyretic effect of paracetamol is related to its effect on the region in the brain (hypothalamus), which is responsible for regulating body temperature. Paracetamol stimulates blood circulation and enhances sweating, it does not irritate the mucosa and can be used by patients with stomach diseases.
Vitamin C protects cells from death during oxidative processes in the body.
With an inflammation of the throat or oral mucosa, a medicine in the form of a warm drink will help to reduce unpleasant sensations.
Pharmacokinetics
Daleron C is absorbed into the digestive tract quite quickly, then the binding of the drug to blood proteins is observed.
The metabolic process of decay of paracetamol is carried out mainly in the liver (a small part - in the kidneys and intestines).
The half-life of the drug is approximately 2 to 3 hours. With urine, an insignificant part of paracetamol is excreted unchanged, most of the substance is excreted by the kidneys in the form of glucuronides and sulphates, and a minor part can be observed in bile.
Vitamin C in the body during oxidation is converted into dehydroascorbic acid. After the process of partial metabolization, the excretion of substances by the kidneys takes place.
Use Daleron C during pregnancy
Daleron C has not been tested on pregnant women, so the medication is prescribed only in case of emergency. During pregnancy, it is advisable to take the medicine for an extended period, preferably only once.
Overdose
Daleron C in case of excess of the recommended dosage can cause nausea, a malfunction of the liver, especially with an organ disease. The first signs of an overdose can occur a few days after taking the drug.

Interactions with other drugs
Simultaneous appointment of Daleron C and warfarin, domperidone, metoclopramide, colestyramine occurs with extreme caution.
Simultaneous combination of Daleron C with drugs in which there is paracetamol, as well as with rifampicin, antiepileptic drugs, chloramphenicol, barbiturates, is not recommended.
Storage conditions
It is recommended that Daleron C be stored in a dark, dry place. The temperature of storage should not be above 30 0 С. The drug should be kept away from children.

Shelf life
Daleron C is suitable for three years from the date of manufacture of the drug. It is not recommended to use the product after the expiry date or when the storage conditions or the integrity of the package are violated.
