Indications A-Diston
The drug A-Diston refers to cardioprotectors, that is, drugs used to correct the functional state of the middle muscle layer of the heart - the myocardium.
Indications for the use of A-Dyston: as an additional remedy for uncomplicated forms of cardiac dysfunction, in particular, for arrhythmia, ischemic symptoms, neurocirculatory (vegetovascular) dystonia, and cardiovascular vegectoneurosis.
Release form
In principle, it is an alcoholic tincture of medicinal plants widely used in the official pharmacopeia, which are used by themselves, and also form part of many widely known medicines. The form of the drug A-Diston - drops in bottles with a dropper (capacity of 30 and 50 ml).
Pharmacodynamics
Pharmacodynamics A-Diston is based on the total therapeutic effect of medicinal plants that are part of the drug. Flavonoids of hawthorn fruit increase myocardial tone and activate coronary circulation.
Essential oils and alkaloids of valerian reduce the excitability of the central nervous system, regulate the activity of the heart with a tendency to vascular spasms.
Glycosides and flavonoids of the motherwort have sedative properties, contribute to lowering blood pressure, removing the syndrome of cardiac arrhythmia and increasing myocardial contractions. Menthol contained in mint is an antispasmodic that dilates coronary vessels and relieves their reflex spasms. A similar therapeutic effect is possessed by fennel fruits. And the essential oils and alkaloids of the mountain arnica flowers soothe and reduce the excitability of the cerebral cortex.

Dosing and administration
Use A-Diston during pregnancy
Use during pregnancy, as well as during lactation - given the presence of 70% ethanol in the preparation - is contraindicated.
Contraindications
The use of this drug is contraindicated in peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, cirrhosis of the liver, persistent low blood pressure (hypotension) and reduced heart rate (bradycardia). Also, A-Diston is contraindicated in case of obvious alcohol dependence, in case of using other drugs with ethyl alcohol, with increased sensitivity to the medicinal plants included in the preparation.
Overdose
Overdose of A-Dyston may lead to a decrease in heart rate and increased drowsiness.
Storage conditions
Storage conditions of A-Dyston: the drug should be stored at a temperature of no higher than + 25 ° C in a dark place. In the formation of sediment before taking the vial with the drug should be shaken.
Shelf life
Shelf life - within 2 years from the date of release of the product indicated on the label.
