Fitoven is a complex medicine for external treatment with angioprotective activity. It is used to provide a protective effect against veins and capillaries. The composition of the drug contains an extract of the herb of medicinal melilot, extract of aesculus seeds, and in addition, lavender and rosemary oil.

The main active elements of the sweet clover extract are coumarin with melitolin, which complement the effect of the esculus. They strengthen the vascular walls and improve blood circulation inside the veins. [1]

Indications Fitoven

Release form

The release of the drug is realized in the form of a gel - inside tubes with a volume of 50 or 100 ml.

Pharmacodynamics

Aesculus seed extract is a mixture of triterpentine-type glycosides; it has an antiexudative and anti-inflammatory effect, and in addition, it enhances the strength of the capillary walls, which makes it possible to reduce the filtration of water and low molecular weight proteins with electrolytes into the intercellular space. This leads to a decrease in tissue edema.

The drug increases the vascular tone of the veins and improves the rheological characteristics of the blood. It has a moderate anticoagulant activity. [2]

Dosing and administration

The medicine is used externally. A thin layer of gel, gently rubbing, treat the affected area, as well as the area around it. The procedure is performed 2-4 times a day. In this case, the legs should be massaged from the bottom up.

In the case of trophic type ulcers affecting the lower leg, it is necessary to treat with the drug only the edges of the ulcer (where there is a disturbance of the blood flow). The medication is applied gradually, in small portions.

In case of inflammation in the vein area, Fitoven should be applied without rubbing it.
