Rheosorbilact is a plasma substitute with a crystalloid character. It is a complex medicine that is balanced in its ionic structure; contains a buffered energy carrier.
Sodium is the main extracellular cation, while potassium is the main intracellular cation. [1]
Calcium takes part in the processes of muscle contraction, movement of impulses within nerve tissues, as well as blood clotting.
Magnesium is required for carbohydrate metabolism.
Indications Reosorbilact
It is used to correct hypovolemia arising in connection with shock (shock can have a burn, traumatic or toxic origin) and with acute blood loss . In addition, it is used to eliminate the symptoms of poisoning (burn pathology, infectious infections, the active phase of hepatitis and sepsis) and to reduce blood viscosity in endarteritis, thrombophlebitis, etc.
Release form
The drug is released in the form of an infusion liquid, inside bottles with a capacity of 0.2 or 0.4 liters.
Pharmacodynamics
The level of the liquid located outside the cells depends on the sodium indicators: it includes 92% of all cations and about half of all active elements located outside the cells and having osmotic activity. In combination with the anion, Cl becomes a very important component required to maintain homeostasis processes.
Calcium helps to strengthen the strength of the vascular membranes, and in addition, prevents the appearance of swelling associated with inflammation.
Potassium is extremely important in the realization of the excitation of muscle cells with neurons. Participates in the metabolism of carbohydrates with proteins.
Magnesium stimulates the activity of a large number of enzymes, and also slows down the movement of neuronal impulses.
Lactate anions synthesize hydrogen ions, which helps to relieve the patient of signs of acidosis. In comparison with bicarbonate, these elements have a slower effect, without leading to a sharp change in the pH of the medium.
Sorbitol is a natural sugar alcohol that is involved in intrahepatic metabolic processes. An insulin independent energy source. It prevents platelet aggregation and has an osmodiuretic effect.
The use of Rheosorbilact helps to stabilize the amount of circulating fluid, remove acidosis, improve microcirculation processes and reduce poisoning.
Dosing and administration
Rheosorbilact for adults is applied in / in the way - jet or through a dropper. In case of shock, 1 dose of the medicine is 0.6-1 l; with chronic hepatitis - 0.4 l; in case of blood loss - up to 1.5 liters; if arterial or venous lesions are noted, up to 0.6 l of the substance is injected.
Children under 6 years of age can use the drug in a 10 ml / kg portion; children 6-12 years old - half of the adult dosage. For persons over the age of 12, adult portions of the medication are prescribed.
- Application for children
There is only limited information regarding the use of drugs in pediatrics.
Use Reosorbilact during pregnancy
There is no information regarding the possibility of using the medication during breastfeeding or pregnancy.
Contraindications
The main contraindications:
- alkalosis;
- strong personal sensitivity to the components of the drug;
- diseases in which there is a tendency to develop bleeding (hemorrhagic colitis, ulcers and severe liver diseases);
- increased blood pressure values;
- decompensation of cardiac function;
- intracerebral hemorrhage.
Side effects Reosorbilact
Side effects include alkalosis and allergy symptoms.
Overdose
With intoxication, symptoms of alkalosis are noted, in the event of which it is necessary to stop the infusion.
Interactions with other drugs
Rheosorbilact cannot be combined with liquids containing phosphate and carbonate anions.
Storage conditions
Rheosorbilact needs to be stored in a dark place, at temperatures in the range of 2-25 ° C.
Shelf life
Rheosorbilact can be used for a 2-year term from the moment the therapeutic substance is sold.

An analogue of the drug is Sorbilact.
Reviews
Rheosorbilact is usually used for extremely severe, critical conditions in patients, therefore, they are not able to track its therapeutic effect and leave feedback about it. Although sometimes the medication is used in the treatment of other disorders - for example, combination therapy for psoriasis. In these cases, the comments of the patients being treated are mostly positive.
