[3]
Pharmacodynamics
Thanks to the transparent gel, you can get a high-quality optical overview, which is why it is often used when performing endoscopy.
Antimicrobial effect and anesthesia manifest themselves after 5-10 minutes from the moment of using the drug.

Dosing and administration
Each syringe can only be used once.
In the case of urological pathologies, it is required to apply a little substance in the area of the urethra, and then place the cannula inside its opening, then inject 11 ml of substance (in men). During cystoscopy, treatment with the whole urethra is required (11 ml of gel is applied, as well as another 6 ml, if required). Syringes with a capacity of 6 ml are injected into children and women. During a variety of endoscopic procedures after applying the gel, you must wait about 10 minutes to get an analgesic effect.
When performing gynecological procedures, you must use 6-11 ml of the drug. First you need to cover the area of the external pharynx with the preparation, and then move the tip of the syringe to the area of the cervical canal and uterine cavity.
If you need to use Instillagel during lactation, you need to stop breastfeeding for 12 hours from the moment of the introduction of the drug.

Overdose
Gel overdose can occur in case of severe damage to the urethra - this leads to the simplification of the absorption of lidocaine with its subsequent systemic influence, manifested in the form of seizures, bradycardia and collapse. Incorrect use of drugs can cause orthostatic collapse.
In the case of bradycardia, it is necessary to use β-adrenergic stimulants, and during convulsions - muscle relaxants with a short-lasting type of influence or barbiturates; dopamine is administered intravenously during collapse.
Storage conditions
Instillagel must be maintained at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C.
