Pine kidneys for coughing with bronchitis

Pine kidneys are considered no less effective cough medicine for bronchitis than birch. Not for nothing because they can be seen in the composition of many plant pectoral dues. The buds of the pine have a powerful expectorant effect due to an increase in the production of bronchial secretion and stimulation of the functions of the ciliary epithelium of the bronchi. Dosing and administration

The most effective mucolytic, expectorant and antibacterial agent is alcoholic tincture of pine buds. And this is not surprising, because alcohol only enhances the specific effect of essential oils of pine. Such a medicine can be used both for internal reception and locally (rubbing, compresses).

It takes 1-2 weeks to prepare the medicine, so it is better to prepare it in advance. As a combustible component of the drug, we take vodka or 40% alcohol. The ratio between the number of pine buds and alcohol should be 1:10. 1-2 weeks keep the infusion in the warmth and darkness, after which it can be stored at room temperature. During the time of drug infusion, the jar with the composition will need to be shaken several times.

Inside with bronchitis tincture is taken three times a day for 5 ml. In the acute period of the disease, the dose can be 8 ml, which corresponds to a dessert spoon.

For the treatment of chronic bronchitis and strengthening the defenses of the organism, a decoction of fresh or dry pine buds is well suited. 2 cups of water take 1 tbsp. Vegetable raw materials, boil for a couple of minutes and insist for another half an hour. Drink filtered after eating. Single dose - a quarter of a glass. Multiplicity of admission - 3 times a day.

In case of acute bronchitis, while the cough is still dry, to improve the excretion of mucus from the bronchi it is recommended to make a decoction on milk (1 teaspoon of kidneys per 1 item of milk). Boil the broth should not more than 5 minutes, and insist about a quarter of an hour.

The decoction will be more effective than fat milk. To enhance the effect and improve the taste in it, you can add a little honey. Take the medicine, as in the previous case 4 times a day. Single dose - 2 tablespoons.

On the chemist's drug with the name "Pine kidney" you can see and such a recipe of broth: pour 10 g of vegetable raw material 1 glass of cool water, in a water bath bring the composition to a boil and stand for another half hour. Cooled to a warm state of decoction, filter and take 3-4 times a day for one tablespoon. Decoction during ingestion should be sufficiently hot, but not scalding.

Infusion of pine buds with a high content of phytoncides is considered an excellent antimicrobial, antipyretic and expectorant. At 1 tbsp. Boiling water take 1 tablespoon. Pine buds and leave in a warm place for 2 hours.

Take infusion strained three times a day. Single dose - 2 tablespoons.

For steam inhalations, a decoction of pine buds is well suited for coughing, which contains components that help combat bacterial and viral agents and facilitate the escape of phlegm with a dry and moist cough. Contraindications

 Pine kidneys, despite all their benefits, are not completely safe medicine. Treatment with them is considered unacceptable: 

• for expectant mothers (because of the risk of pregnancy failure, since scrap pine can increase the tone of the uterus),
• by the time of breastfeeding (the substances contained in the pine can negatively affect the fragile child's body.
• for patients with hepatitis (due to heavy load on the liver),
• with severe kidney diseases, especially with functional organ failure (due to a strong diuretic effect),
• for people with hypersensitivity to resinous pine substances and allergic reactions to the plant.

With care, kidney treatment of pine is used in childhood and old age again because of the heavy workload on organs and human systems. Children are advised not to receive such treatment before they are 12 years of age. However, in some sources, you can find information that such funds are dangerous only for babies under 7 years old.

Side effects Pine buds

Most often, pine and its kidneys cause allergic reactions because of the high content of essential oils and resinous substances. But the use of funds with kidneys of pine in large dosages is fraught with the appearance of nausea, vomiting, headaches, disruption of the liver and kidneys, worsening of the general condition.

Storage conditions

In early spring, when nature begins to revive, it is necessary to collect pine buds, pruning them on branches with a small portion of the stalk, called a "crown". Blooming buds should be left on the tree.

Store vegetable raw materials in a natural way in a ventilated room, but not in the sun. Use ovens, ovens and dryers is not recommended because of the loss of tarry substances.

Store pine buds for about 2 years in a cool room with low humidity. Sealed containers are not suitable for storing raw materials. It is better to use cardboard containers or bags of cloth.
