Venosan is a complex preparation for external use. Its therapeutic effect is due to the active properties of its three active elements: heparin with escin and phospholipids.
Indications Venosana
Applies to such violations:
- varicose veins in the legs, as well as varicose veins;
- epidermal lesions in the area around varicose ulcers;
- pathological syndrome, which has postthrombophlebitic character;
- superficial form of thrombophlebitis ;
- Puffiness due to a variety of injuries;
- problems with blood circulation in the veins, caused by prolonged standing;
- bites of various insects;
- puffiness caused by frostbite.
Release form
The release of the gel is realized in tubes having a volume of 40 grams, along a 1-tube inside the pack.

Pharmacodynamics
Eszin is a component of drugs (extract of the esculus). The substance tones the membranes of the blood vessels and stabilizes their strength, and in addition increases the rate of circulation inside the capillaries, lymphoid circulation and blood flow in the veins. These effects contribute to the development of anti-inflammatory and anti-exsudative effects.
Phospholipids reduce blood viscosity, affecting the processes of fat metabolism, and in addition, weaken platelet aggregation and prevent the development of thrombotic symptoms.
Heparin is an anticoagulant with a direct type of drug activity. It improves the circulation processes in the affected areas and prevents the development of microthrombi.
Dosing and administration
The medication can only be prescribed for local use. A thin layer of gel gently treat the swollen or affected areas of the epidermis (the procedure is 2-4 times a day). The dosing schedule is the same for all sizes of the affected area.
Without a doctor's control, the course of therapy can last for a maximum of 15 days.

Use Venosana during pregnancy
There is no evidence of adverse effects of the drug on a pregnant woman or fetus. But while using it in pregnancy or lactation is recommended only when absolutely necessary (with a preliminary assessment of the benefits and likelihood of complications in the fetus). This applies especially to the 3rd trimester.
Contraindications
The main contraindications:
- the presence of hypersensitivity to any drug element;
- hemophilia, and in addition thrombocytopenia or purpura;
- processes that have ulcerative-necrotic nature;
- destruction of the integrity of the epidermis, having a traumatic origin;
- diathesis, which has a hemorrhagic character;
- the presence of predisposition to the development of bleeding;
- the presence on the skin of irritations or open wound lesions;
- treatment of areas affected by eczema.

Side effects Venosana
The use of the gel can cause the development of symptoms of hypersensitivity - itching, rashes, local redness, urticaria or edema Quincke. There may also be hemorrhages, and sometimes small bubbles, pustules or large blisters appear on the skin.
Treatment of large areas of the epidermis can provoke the development of common allergic manifestations.
If any negative symptoms appear, immediately stop using Venosan and consult a doctor.
Interactions with other drugs
The use of heparin can cause prolongation of the PTV values in people taking anticoagulants for oral use.
It is forbidden to combine Venosan with other medicines for local treatment (for example, with medicines that contain hydrocortisone, and in addition anticoagulants or salicylic acid with tetracycline).
Storage conditions
The broom should be kept in a place that is closed from penetration of small children. The temperature does not exceed 25 ° C.
Shelf life
Venosans are allowed to be used within 24 months from the date of manufacture of the medicament.

Application for children
It is forbidden to appoint Venosan to children.
Analogues
Analogues of the drug are drugs, Troxerutin, Wobenzym, Histochrome with Optics Forte, Lucentis and Telectol, and in addition Troxevasin, Tribenozide, Niflumic acid and Myrtleene forte. Also on the list are Ketanserin, Esflazid, Butadion Ointment and Essaven.
