Yumeks is an antiparkzonian agent.
Indications Yumeks
Yumeks is prescribed for Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease and mild dementia.
Release form
Yumeks is available in the form of tablets of 50 pieces per pack.
Pharmacodynamics
Yumeks is an MAO inhibitor. Inhibits the reuptake of dopamine.
Pharmacokinetics
Yumeks is rapidly absorbed and distributed. Metabolites Yumeks are mainly excreted by the kidneys together with the urine for 3 days.
Dosing and administration
With Parkinson's disease - 5-10 mg per day. In Alzheimer's disease - 5 mg per day in the morning once.
Use Yumeks during pregnancy
Studies of the influence of Yumex on pregnancy and lactation were not conducted. The drug is used in women who have reached reproductive age.
Contraindications
Yumex is contraindicated for individual sensitivity to the components, in combination with serotonin reuptake inhibitors, antidepressants and pethidine.
Side effects Yumeks
When applying Umeks, allergic reactions can occur, dry mouth, decreased blood pressure, decreased vision, problems with sleep.

Overdose
Overdose Yumeks has no specific clinical picture, the treatment is aimed at eliminating symptoms.
Interactions with other drugs
There is an undesirable interaction with pethidine and serotonin reuptake inhibitors, in the latter case, an increase in blood pressure, hallucinations and psychosis is possible. The mechanism of this burning is not fully understood. When combined with antidepressants, severe toxic damage to the central nervous system with tremors and abrupt changes in blood pressure is possible. With simultaneous administration of the drug with traditional MAO inhibitors, a diet with a restriction of cheese and yeast should be followed. "The effect of cheese" is accompanied by hypertension.
