Unienzyme with MPS is an enzyme medicinal product for improving digestion.

Indications Unienzyme with MPS

Unienzyme with MPS is prescribed in the following clinical situations:

  • Diseases that are accompanied by a disorder of the enzymatic functions of the pancreas: chronic inflammation of the pancreas ( chronic pancreatitis ),
  • Condition after irradiation of malignant neoplasms (as part of complex treatment).
  • Flatulence and bloating.
  • Functional dyspepsia, due to eating unusual foods or overeating.

Release form

Unienzyme with MPS is available in tablet form.

Pharmacodynamics

Unienzyme with MPS consists of two digestive enzymes - papain and fungal diastase. They improve the processes of food digestion and the absorption of proteins, fats and carbohydrates.

Simethicone has carminative properties. It prevents the formation and destroys gas bubbles. It also helps remove gases from the gastrointestinal tract, thus eliminating the symptoms of flatulence, nausea, and abdominal pain.

Activated carbon is a well-known detoxifier, a very good natural absorbent. Reduces gas production in the intestines and relieves spasms and belching.

Nicotinamide (vitamin PP) has a beneficial effect on digestion.

Pharmacokinetics

The pharmacokinetics of Unienzyme with MPS has not been studied.

Dosing and administration

Taken orally, 1 tablet 1 time per day.

Unienzyme with MPS can be taken during pregnancy under the supervision of a physician.

Contraindications

Unienzyme with MPS is contraindicated in acute pancreatitis and exacerbation of chronic pancreatitis.
