Release form

Pharmacodynamics

The drug has a normalizing effect on the lysosomal walls, slows down the release of cellular enzymes involved in the processes of protein breakdown, and in addition, strengthens the capillary vessels and reduces their fragility. In addition, he also prevents the filtration of water with salts and low-molecular proteins into the intercellular environment, and also relieves vascular thrombosis and venous stasis in the legs. As a result, weakened feeling of heaviness and fatigue in the legs, reduced tension, peripheral edemas and pain.
Pharmacokinetics
The drug is well absorbed through the digestive tract. Peak blood levels of the substance are noted after 6 hours on average.
Cumulation of the drug component occurs mainly in the area of superficial veins on the legs. A smaller part of the drug accumulates inside the lung tissue, as well as the liver with the kidneys. Selective cumulation within the venous vessels is observed after 9-10 hours after the consumption of tablets and lasts 96 hours.
Biotransformation within the liver occurs with the subsequent formation of phenolic acids. Excretion is carried out with urine and feces.
Dosing and administration
Take medication orally.
In chronic stages of hemorrhoids or veins deficiency: it is required to use 1-well tablets of drugs twice a day, along with food. After 6-7 days it is allowed to switch to taking a total daily dose (2 tablets) for 1 time.
Use of Venosmine in the acute stage of hemorrhoids: during the first 4 days you need to take 6 tablets a day (2-3 times per day), and then, for 3 more days - 4 tablets / day (the medicine is taken together with meal).
The duration of the cycle is selected taking into account the intensity of the pathology and the nature of its course. Often it is about 2 months (on average). Against the background of therapy, you should also perform certain actions - walk more and more often, wear special stockings on your legs, refuse to stay in the sun and watch your weight.

Use Venosmina during pregnancy
Information on the development of negative manifestations in the case of using hesperidin with diosmin in pregnancy at the moment does not exist. Therefore, to appoint Venosmin in this period should be very cautious. Before you start, you should contact your doctor.
It is forbidden to breast-feed a child when taking medication (because there is not enough information about the excretion of the drug with the mother's milk).
