Pharmacodynamics

Venoton has anti-inflammatory, capillaroprotective, anti-edema, venotonic, and in addition anti-exsudative properties.

Escalus extract provides stabilization of venous tone and protection of capillaries, eliminates edema, and also has anticoagulant and antiaggregant effects. All these properties are due to the activity of esculin (flavone glycoside) and escin (saponin).
