Venousmil is a capillary stabilizing drug from the category of angioprotectors. Contains bioflavonoids.

Indications Venosmila

It is used to relieve the swelling and signs caused by the insufficiency of veins, which has a chronic character (application of the drug is possible for a short period of time - a maximum of 2-3 months).

Release form

The release of drug substance is realized in capsules, 10 pieces inside a blister pack. The pack contains 6 or 9 such packages.

Pharmacodynamics

The active element of the drug is hydrosphere, the chemical properties of which allow it to be classified as flavonoids. It is a standard mixture containing the components of 5,3'mono-O- (β-hydroxyethyl) -diosmin, as well as 5,3'-di-O- (β-hydroxyethyl) -diosmin.

The medicinal effect of hydrosmol has not been fully studied yet, but one can note the presence of an interrelation with the slowing down of catecholamine degradation - mainly due to inhibition of catechol-O-methyltransferase activity. While it has not yet been possible to determine the therapeutic effect of drugs, it is still possible to identify the four basic properties provided by hydrosmin:

  • strengthening the strength of the walls of capillaries, the permeability of which can be caused by the action of bradykinin with histamine. Also, the substance prevents capillary fragility, which can develop with an incorrect nutritional regime;
  • improvement of hemorheological parameters of erythrocytes, reduction of blood viscosity and increase in the ability of erythrocytes to deform;
  • influence in respect of venomotor tonus - gradual stimulation of permanent contractions of muscles of a smooth type in the region of the venous wall;
  • creation of optimal conditions for improving the processes of lymphoid circulation. Hydrosmine provokes an expansion of the lymphatic ducts and, together with it, increases the speed of its movement, which improves the lymphatic drainage.

VENOSMIL contributes to the improvement of clinical manifestations of peripheral veins deficiency (feeling of heaviness or pain, as well as puffiness), which is different from the effect of placebo. Undoubtedly, the active element of the drug has a significant effect on the complications of venous stasis, provoked by varicose vascular enlargement in the leg region.

Pharmacokinetics

After ingestion of a single dose of drugs in a healthy person, a 2-phase character of the plasma plasma time curve with respect to time is noted. The initial Cmax is observed after 15 minutes, and then a slow decrease occurs. After 4 hours after admission, another increase in the drug's values is noted with the achievement of a stable level within 5-8 hours after consumption. Further, the indices inside the plasma decrease. After 24 hours, the substance is almost not observed in the body.

The half-life of the hydrospray is 90% for 48 hours. Excretion of the active element of the drug is mainly carried out by the intestine (80% of the component). With urine, about 16-18% of the portion is excreted on average.
