Pharmacodynamics
Escin is a component of LS (esculus extract). The substance tones the membranes of blood vessels and stabilizes their strength, and in addition increases the speed of blood circulation inside the capillaries, lymphoid circulation and blood flow in the veins. These effects contribute to the development of anti-inflammatory and anti-exudative effects.
Phospholipids reduce blood viscosity by affecting fat metabolism processes, and in addition, they weaken platelet aggregation and prevent the development of thrombotic symptoms.
Heparin is an anticoagulant with a direct type of medicinal activity. It improves circulation processes in the affected areas and prevents the development of microthrombi.
Dosing and administration
The medication can be prescribed exclusively for local use. A thin layer of gel is carefully applied to swollen or affected areas of the epidermis (the procedure is performed 2-4 times a day). The dosage scheme is the same for any size of the affected area.
Without a doctor's supervision, the course of therapy can last a maximum of 15 days.
