Venosal plus a drug with capillary-protective properties.

Indications Venosal plus.

It is used to eliminate the following diseases:

  • varicose veins;
  • local swelling, phlebitis, and also subjective discomfort (such as heaviness or pain in the legs, severe cramps in the calf muscles at night, as well as paresthesia) arising from venous congestion in the legs (due to lymphatic or venous insufficiency);
  • hematomas of various origins (this includes those resulting from injuries);
  • telangiectasias on the epidermis.

Release form

It is produced in the form of a gel, in tubes of 100 g. There is 1 such tube in a pack.

Pharmacodynamics

The medication has anti-inflammatory, venotonic, and anti-edematous therapeutic properties.

The main active element of the extract from the seeds of Aesculus is the substance escin, which has a strong venotropic effect. This component tones the walls of the veins, reduces lymph flow and at the same time increases the indicators of dry lymphoid residue. Escin increases the strength of capillaries and also eliminates venous congestion.

Calendula essence potentiates the anti-inflammatory effect of the drug, and in addition, has a restorative effect and helps heal wound surfaces.

Witch hazel essence has disinfectant, hemostatic and astringent properties, and also helps to strengthen the walls of veins.

Ginkgo biloba extract helps improve blood circulation and prevents blood clots.

Butcher's broom extract strengthens capillaries and has a noticeable anti-inflammatory effect.

The essence of sweet clover contains coumarins, due to which it increases the speed of wound healing, increases the resistance of capillaries and helps eliminate phlebitis.

D-panthenol helps regeneration processes in burns, wounds and dermatoses. It has an anti-inflammatory effect and eliminates itching.

Venosal Plus helps to remove pain, swelling and heaviness in the legs. The gel is quickly absorbed through the epidermis, leaving no greasy marks on it, and in addition, it has a pleasant cooling effect.

Dosing and administration

Apply the gel in a 1-2 cm strip to the affected areas 2-3 times a day, gently rubbing it in until it is completely absorbed. Direct the movements from the bottom to the top.

It is necessary to use Venosal Plus during the entire period of time when the legs are subject to heavy loads (long periods of standing, walking or work that involves high loads).

If the disease has become chronic, the duration of therapy in this case should be on average 2-3 months (the interval between repeated cycles should be 2-3 weeks).

The gel can be used both during pregnancy and lactation.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated to use the medicine in case of severe intolerance to the components of the medicine. Also, the gel is not used for thrombosis and is not applied to damaged epidermis.
