Indications Upsavit

Upsavit is intended:

  • for the treatment of absolute or relative vitamin deficiency in the body;
  • to eliminate the lack of microelements in the body;
  • with unbalanced nutrition in adulthood or adolescence.

Release form

Upsavit is available in the form of effervescent round tablets of a yellow hue with a lemon scent.

Each tablet contains the following components:

  • vitamin A;
  • vitamins B1, B2, B5, B6, B12;
  • ascorbic acid;
  • vitamin E;
  • nicotinamide;
  • vitamin H;
  • folic acid;
  • zinc, copper, selenium.

Pharmacodynamics

Thanks to its unique composition, Upsavit has the following beneficial properties:

  • improves the condition of the retina;
  • facilitates the functioning of joints;
  • regulates carbohydrate and other types of metabolic processes;
  • normalizes the production of neurotransmitters;
  • ensures the function of hematopoiesis;
  • improves iron absorption;
  • stimulates immunity;
  • stabilizes hormone production;
  • activates metabolism.

Microelements included in the Upsavit preparation improve the condition of the skin, accelerate the healing of wound surfaces, and ensure normal enzymatic activity in the body.

Pharmacokinetics

The kinetic capacity of Upsavit has not been studied.

Dosing and administration

Usually, patients are prescribed 1 Upsavit tablet per day. Duration of administration is up to 1 month. Before use, the tablet is dissolved in 150-200 ml of water at room temperature.

Use Upsavit during pregnancy

During pregnancy, it is recommended to take only special vitamin supplements. Upsavit is not recommended for use during the first trimester due to its high content of retinol (vit. A). The question of using the drug in subsequent trimesters is decided by the doctor.

When breastfeeding, it is permissible to take Upsavit, but not more than 2 tablets per day.

Contraindications

Upsavit should not be used:

  • for phenylketonuria (aspartame is present among the auxiliary ingredients);
  • if there is an increased risk of an allergic response from the body;
  • in children under 12 years of age.

Side effects Upsavit

Rarely, allergic reactions may occur when taking Upsavit.

Overdose

An overdose of Upsavit may manifest itself with symptoms of retinol hypervitaminosis (vitamin A):

  • apathy, drowsiness;
  • headache;
  • dyspepsia.

If such symptoms appear, you should stop taking the tablets and consult a doctor about further treatment with the drug.

Interactions with other drugs

It is not recommended to combine the use of Upsavit with other multivitamin products, especially those containing retinol (vit. A).

Storage conditions

The multivitamin Upsavit is stored at room temperature, out of reach of children.

Shelf life

The shelf life of Upsavit is up to 4 years. The diluted tablet should be taken immediately.
