Indications Undetab
Undetab is prescribed to prevent and eliminate hypovitaminosis, to accelerate metabolic processes (especially in elderly patients), and also in special cases accompanied by an additional need for vitamins:
- in case of insufficient nutrition;
- in case of excessive intellectual and physical stress;
- with reduced performance;
- as an additional remedy - for chronic systemic diseases, cardiac and vascular pathologies;
- to speed up recovery after prolonged illnesses, injuries, operations;
- when metabolic processes slow down, when the body's defenses are weak, when enzyme activity and endocrine system function are disrupted.

Release form
Undetab is a biconvex, round tablet in a pinkish-brown coating. The coating may contain dark inclusions, which is considered normal.
The drug is represented by active ingredients that determine its main properties:
- retinol (vit. A);
- tocopherol (vit. E);
- vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12, B5;
- ascorbic acid;
- nicotinamide, folic acid, rutin.
The tablets are packed in blisters of 10 pieces (3 blisters in a cardboard box), or in plastic jars of 50 pieces.
Pharmacodynamics
Undetab is a multivitamin with a pronounced and comprehensive biological effect on the body. The properties of the drug are determined by the abilities of its individual ingredients:
- protein-enzyme production, formation of epithelium, bone tissue, and production of immunoglobulins are stabilized;
- the function of the defense system and intracellular metabolic processes are normalized;
- oxygen exchange in tissues and the condition of blood vessels improve;
- the state of the nervous system is stabilized;
- intracellular respiration processes are facilitated, visual function is improved;
- the production of neurotransmitters is activated;
- hematopoiesis processes are normalized, amino acid composition is improved;
- the condition of the skin, skeletal system, and tooth enamel improves;
- the vascular wall is strengthened, the fragility of small vessels is eliminated;
- erythropoiesis is stimulated;
- hormonal balance and antibody production are restored, as well as the absorption of nutrients in the small intestine.
Pharmacokinetics
The ingredients of the medicine Undetab are absorbed in the intestine and distributed in the body through the systemic blood supply. Residual products are excreted by the kidneys and liver.
Dosing and administration
Undetab is taken immediately after meals.
To prevent hypovitaminosis, adult patients should take 1 tablet after breakfast. Elderly patients are recommended to double the dosage.
To treat hypovitaminosis, 2 tablets are prescribed three times a day.
Preventive use of the medication usually lasts 1 month. After 30-90 days, a repeat course can be taken.
The doctor prescribes the treatment regimen individually.

Use Undetab during pregnancy
When planning conception and during pregnancy, taking Undetab should be agreed upon with a doctor, since an excess of some vitamins can be harmful to the growing fetus.
Contraindications
Among the contraindications to the use of Undetab are:
- nephrolithiasis;
- renal failure;
- gout;
- increased thrombus formation;
- poor fructose tolerance;
- excess of vitamins in the body;
- endemic goiter;
- chronic heart failure;
- gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer;
- sarcoidosis.
Side effects Undetab
- Allergic reactions range from mild redness to anaphylactic shock.
- Digestive disorders, changes in gastric secretion.
- Headaches, irritability or drowsiness.
- Change in urine color (deep yellow).
With prolonged use - deterioration of the condition of hair, hands and feet, seborrhea.
Overdose
Overdose of Undetab may be accompanied by dyspepsia (diarrhea, stomach pain), allergic reactions, deterioration of the skin, headache, apathy, facial flushing, and increased excitability.
To eliminate such symptoms, symptomatic treatment is prescribed.
Interactions with other drugs
Several multivitamin medications should not be used simultaneously.
When taking Undetab, the anti-inflammatory ability of glucocorticosteroid drugs may decrease.
It is undesirable to use Undetab together with drugs containing iron, silver, as well as with indirect anticoagulants.
Undetab can enhance the effect of sulfonamides, penicillin antibiotics, and reduce the effectiveness of heparin drugs.
The drug is absorbed worse with the simultaneous use of alcoholic beverages and calcium-containing drugs.
Storage conditions
Undetab is usually stored in normal room conditions, in places inaccessible to children.

Shelf life
The shelf life of Undetab is up to 18 months.
