Infectious diseases can catch a person at any time. They are caused by various microorganisms. The drug Tigeron was designed to combat the negative impact of infection on the body. It helps to overcome many problems, including relapses.
Indications Tigeron
The product is widely used to eliminate infectious diseases of various origins. The main indication for the use of Tigeron is the fight against microorganisms sensitive to the action of levofloxacin. This list includes negative processes that occur in the upper respiratory tract. This can be both pneumonia and bronchitis.
Tigeron is also designed to combat infectious lesions of the genitourinary system. This includes chronic prostatitis, uncomplicated pyelonephritis, urethritis and cystitis. This drug can be used both independently and in complex therapy. In addition, the drug eliminates infectious diseases affecting the skin and soft tissues. This can be septicemia, bacteremia and even intra-abdominal infections.
The product is very strong, so it is not recommended to use it on your own, there is a risk of harming your own body.

Release form
Tigeron is available in tablet form. They differ only in the content of the active component in them. Thus, the form of release of the drug is tablets of 500 or 750 mg. All of them are covered with a special shell, which makes swallowing easier. Not all people are able to swallow tablets without problems. The manufacturers of this drug took this into account. One blister contains 5 tablets, the package can contain up to 2 blisters.
In addition to tablets, the drug is also available as an infusion solution. One glass bottle contains 100 ml of the drug. A cardboard package contains one bottle. There are no other forms of packaging. The attending physician decides which form to use Tigeron in, depending on the patient's condition and the degree of development of a particular disease. You should not resort to choosing Tigeron on your own, in order to avoid worsening the situation.
Pharmacodynamics
The main substance in Tigeron is levofloxacin. This component is classified as a broad-spectrum antibiotic. Levofloxacin is a 3rd generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic. Antimicrobial activity is enhanced by levofloxacin and fluorine molecules. The bactericidal effect is achieved by influencing DNA synthesis, which is the basis of pharmacodynamics.
The active component is capable of blocking enzymatic topoisomerases, including DNA hydrase. They, in turn, act as catalysts in the process of DNA spiralization-despiralization. It is the most necessary for normal DNA replication.
Due to the function of inhibiting intracellular enzymes, irreversible processes can occur in the cells of the microorganism. Ultimately, this leads to its death. Tigeron has an effective effect against infectious diseases. Including those caused by gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. It is worth noting the fact that the drug does not have a bactericidal effect on spirochetes.

Pharmacokinetics
When taken orally, Tigeron is perfectly absorbed in the intestine. Moreover, it has remarkable bioavailability. As for pharmacokinetics, it does not change depending on the route of administration. It should be noted that eating food can lead to inhibition of levofloxacin absorption. But this does not lead to a decrease in plasma concentrations of the drug.
Its maximum amount in the blood plasma is reached an hour after administration. If the drug is used in a dosage of about 1000 mg per day, accumulation of the active component in the body is possible. Uniform plasma concentrations are achieved after three days. About 40% of the drug binds to plasma proteins.
The drug is able to penetrate most tissues and biological fluids in the body. It is able to create therapeutically significant concentrations in the affected areas. In this case, we are talking about the tissues of the upper and lower respiratory tract. The drug is not able to penetrate the blood-brain barrier. A small part of Tigeron can be metabolized by demethylation. The period of Tigeron elimination from the body is 8 hours. Excretion is carried out mainly by the kidneys, almost unchanged. The other part comes out in the form of metabolites.
Dosing and administration
The drug should be used no more than 2 times a day. Everything depends on the prescribed dosage, which will be recommended by the attending physician. If the drug is prescribed to be used twice, it should be done at equal intervals. As for the method of application and dosage of Tigeron, everything depends on the severity of the disease, as well as the characteristics of the patient's body. Usually, the duration of treatment is not two weeks.
The solution should be administered intravenously by drip. As for the duration of the infusion, it should not be less than an hour for every 100 ml of solution. In acute cases of the disease, it is necessary to combine infusion administration with taking tablets. In the presence of uncomplicated infections, it is necessary to use 250 mg of the drug no more than once a day. In this case, the duration of treatment is 3 days.
If the infection is complicated, the dose remains the same, but the duration of treatment increases to 1-2 weeks. For prostatitis, you need to take 500 mg of the drug for a month. If the kidneys are not functioning properly, 20-50 ml per minute is enough, depending on the severity of the disease. The exact dosage for each disease is prescribed by the doctor. If the patient's liver and kidneys are functioning normally, then no dose adjustment is required.
Use Tigeron during pregnancy
During pregnancy, you should refrain from taking the drug. The fact is that it is a broad-spectrum antibiotic. During the period of bearing a child, such an effect on the body can lead to the development of serious pathological processes. Therefore, the use of Tigeron during pregnancy is prohibited.
A similar requirement applies to the period of breastfeeding. You should exclude the use of Tigeron or, on the contrary, stop breastfeeding your baby. This is a drug that should never be used during pregnancy. In this case, the period does not matter. Antibiotics are strictly prohibited. Naturally, a special risk remains for the first weeks after conception. This period is dangerous for the possibility of miscarriage or the development of a pathological process in the child. In any case, the use of the drug should be supervised by a doctor. Tigeron is used only if the positive result for the mother is much higher than the possible deviations in the child.
Contraindications
Tigeron should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to its main component. This can cause serious allergic reactions from the body. The main contraindication for use is epilepsy. The presence of a tendency to seizures does not provide for the use of this drug. Such an effect can aggravate the situation.
Naturally, the medication should not be taken during pregnancy. The antibiotic can harm the child's body, so its use in children under 3 years of age is prohibited. The drug is used with caution by patients who have cerebrovascular accidents. This also includes the anamnesis.
Finally, the drug should not be used by people whose work requires increased concentration. Tigeron inhibits mental activity and distracts a person's consciousness. Therefore, operating dangerous machinery and using the drug are in no way compatible.

Side effects Tigeron
The drug belongs to the group of antibiotics, so it can lead to the development of serious side effects. The gastrointestinal tract can react inadequately to such an invasion of the body. As a result, nausea, anorexia, vomiting and indigestion develop. But these are not all the side effects that Tigeron causes. In rare cases, it contributes to the development of colitis, as well as a decrease in blood sugar levels, as well as increased irritability. Very rarely, the activity of liver enzymes increases. As a result, hepatitis may develop.
The central nervous system can also react negatively. Headaches, increased fatigue, and sleep disorders may develop. In some cases, patients develop anxiety, tremors, and seizures. Very rarely, taste sensations change, the sense of smell deteriorates, and vision and hearing are impaired.
The cardiovascular system may react with the development of arrhythmia, tachycardia and increased blood pressure. Neutropenia is extremely rare, thrombocytopenia and agranulocytosis may occur. In isolated cases, collapse and pancytopenia have been recorded.
From the musculoskeletal system, the appearance of pain in muscles and joints, as well as a decrease in their elasticity, is not excluded. Patients may complain of muscle weakness, as well as rhabdomyliosis. From the genitourinary system, the appearance of nephritis and acute renal failure is not excluded.
Finally, allergic reactions may occur. These include skin rash, urticaria, and itching. Quincke's edema, bronchospasm, and anaphylactic shock may develop. Other side effects include general weakness and increased body temperature.

Overdose
If a person takes the drug in too high a dosage, serious reactions from the organs and systems of the body cannot be ruled out. Thus, the first thing that begins to bother is the symptoms of an overdose. They are characterized by the appearance of nausea, vomiting, dizziness. Sometimes a person notes a violation of the coordination of movement, he has convulsions.
In this case, you need to know what to do. If strange symptoms appear, the first thing you should do is wash your stomach with a large amount of liquid. This will remove the excessive amount of the drug from the body and alleviate the person's condition. There is no specific antidote for this drug. You should wash your stomach and use antacids. It is advisable to monitor the patient's condition until all overdose symptoms disappear. You can wash your stomach yourself, then call an ambulance or inform your doctor about the situation.
Interactions with other drugs
When using this drug simultaneously with magnesium and aluminum, intestinal absorption may decrease. If there is an urgent need to use these medications together, an interval between doses should be observed. It is desirable that it be at least 2 hours. When interacting with other drugs, in particular Sucralfate, the bioavailability of Tigeron may decrease.
Simultaneous use of the drug with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs may lead to a decrease in the seizure threshold. Increased side effects of medications are possible. Tigeron is not recommended for use with Fenbufen, as this leads to an increased concentration of levofloxacin.
Probenecid and cimetidine can reduce the rate of drug elimination. If it is used simultaneously with Cyclosporine, the half-life may increase. If it is necessary to use Tigeron and vitamin K antagonists simultaneously, blood clotting parameters should be monitored. After all, in this case, the risk of bleeding increases.

Storage conditions
The product should be stored in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. This will prevent premature deterioration of the product. It is important to observe the storage conditions, especially the temperature regime. It should not exceed 25 degrees Celsius. Otherwise, the product may quickly become unusable.
Dampness prevents normal storage of the medicine. Therefore, it is advisable to choose a warm and dry place. Wetting the blisters leads to spoilage of the tablets, this condition must be observed without fail. Direct sunlight also has a negative effect on Tigeron. Excessive exposure can lead to spoilage of Tigeron. Optimal storage conditions are: maintaining temperature, humidity and dryness. In this case, Tigeron will last a long time.
Shelf life
Tigeron can be stored for 2 years. During this period, special storage conditions should be observed. Only they are a guarantee of the safety of the drug. In fact, the expiration date is just a number.
In order for the product to serve for a long time, it is necessary to provide it with normal conditions. First of all, you should pay attention to the temperature regime. Thus, the optimal storage temperature should not exceed 25 degrees Celsius. But this is not enough, it is important that Tigeron is not exposed to direct sunlight. To do this, it must be stored in a dry and dark place. Moisture is the enemy of any medicine. It can lead to the blister getting wet and the drug spoiling. Therefore, this condition must also be monitored.
If the color of the tablets, smell or consistency have changed, it means that the storage conditions were not observed correctly. It is necessary to get rid of the drug; it is highly recommended not to use it. A similar requirement is put forward in the event of expiration of the shelf life.
