When you have psoriasis, your skin needs specific care – you need to use only mild products. Hygiene products with pronounced healing properties are most suitable – such as shampoos, gels or soaps for psoriasis. It should be taken into account that they cannot be used to get rid of the disease. Although there are cases when regular use of household or tar soap helped to almost completely eliminate all the symptoms of psoriasis, they are quite rare and are not the rule.

The main function of hygiene products is a safe neutral effect on the skin, which is especially important during periods of exacerbation of the disease. In such cases, you should use hypoallergenic children's products. But you should refuse to use regular soaps, which contain aggressive detergents and dyes, because they increase the manifestations of psoriasis and worsen its course.

Dosing and administration

For oily skin, tar soap is used to wash the face twice a day, while for dry skin, one procedure is enough. If there are lesions on the body, shower gel is used instead of soap, with which it is necessary to carefully treat the areas where psoriasis plaques are located. After washing, it is recommended to rinse with a decoction of herbs (chamomile or calamus, etc.).

Denova Skin Protector should be applied to psoriatic plaques and left for 3-5 minutes, then washed off with water. If the rash is too extensive, it is recommended to moisten the soap and gently massage the affected areas. After 15-20 minutes, the soap should be washed off with warm water.

Bio Beauty should be used 1-2 times a day, gently rubbing into the affected areas, and then rinsing off with plain water. Often the results of using the soap become noticeable after just a few of these procedures.

Tegrin soap should be used to treat rashes, leaving the product on the skin for 3-5 minutes. It is more effective to use this product to treat psoriasis developing on the scalp.

Side effects psoriasis soap

Because laundry soap contains a high percentage of alkali, it can greatly dry out the areas treated with it - as a result, the condition of the hair deteriorates significantly, it becomes brittle and porous. In addition, the foam of such soap can destroy the protective properties of the skin, which is why, with frequent application, the skin can turn red, and in areas affected by psoriasis, irritation and burning increase.

The use of Tegrin soap may cause such a side effect as an allergy. It manifests itself in such symptoms as swelling of the face, throat, lips and tongue, and in addition to this, difficulty breathing. If a weak allergic reaction occurs, it manifests itself in the form of reddening of the skin, increased itching and irritation in the affected areas, and in addition, the appearance of a strong burning sensation. If the drug is used to treat the scalp, it can temporarily dye the hair.
