Silix is an effective drug with intense sorption activity.

When absorbed inside the body, the drug ensures the synthesis and excretion of toxins of an endogenous and exogenous nature, bacterial endotoxins, microbial and food allergens, and in addition also toxic elements that are formed during the intraintestinal breakdown of proteins.

The drug substance is almost not absorbed, penetrating into the intestine.

Indications Silix

It is used for intestinal pathologies in the active phase, during which diarrheal syndrome is noted (among those, intoxication associated with food intake, as well as salmonellosis ). It is also prescribed for the combined treatment of viral hepatitis of subtypes A or B.

The drug is released in the form of an oral powder for the manufacture of a suspension. Contains inside sachets (volume 1-2 g) or sticks (volume 1 g), as well as inside bottles with a capacity of 12 g. Inside the box contains 24 sachets or sticks or 1 bottle.

Dosing and administration

Silix is used in the form of a water-based suspension, taken orally 60 minutes before meals or drugs. If it is impossible to perform an independent intake of enterosorbent, the medicine is administered to the patient using a probe.

When making a suspension, it is required to add 0.25 liters of pre-cooled boiled water to the inside of a bottle with a capacity of 12 g (bring the volume of liquid to the 0.25 liter mark on the bottle, then shake it a little). One full tablespoon contains 20 ml of such a suspension - this corresponds to approximately 1 g of drug.

If a medicine is used from sticks (volume 1 g) or sachets (volume 1 or 2 g), then it must be poured into a glass, then add boiled chilled liquid to it in a proportion of 20 ml / g, and then shake this mixture a little.

In pediatrics, the following daily portions are used:

Adults should consume 12 g of medication per day.

The daily dosage of the suspension should be used in 3 doses (for both the child and the adult).

In the case of intestinal pathologies with an active phase, it is necessary to enter a 1-fold portion, which will not exceed half the daily value. The treatment cycle lasts 3-5 days; if required, it can be extended up to 10-15 days.

With hepatitis of a viral nature, the treatment course using the above dosages lasts 7-10 days (taking into account the intensity of the course of the disease).
