The modern pharmacological market is ready to offer the buyer a wide range of medicines that have antibacterial, antiparasitic and antimicrobial characteristics. Such diversity makes it possible for a person to acquire exactly the means that suits him most, bringing maximum efficiency. One of the drugs of this pharmacological group is Sangviritrin, produced by the Zhitomir pharmacological factory for Vilar (Russia) and GNIISKLS (Russia).

A person lives from time to time with various pathogenic flora - these are microscopic bacteria, strains of various fungi, diverse infections. If the human body has failed and weakened its defense, these "aggressors" are ready to be invaded, growing colony and causing various infectious and inflammatory diseases. Sangviritrin - a modern pharmacological preparation that has antibacterial, antiparasitic and antimicrobial characteristics, can effectively inhibit the multiplication of such microorganisms, damaging them in such a way that they simply die. This effective medicine is able to save the patient from many pathological problems, it is only necessary to remember that it is not worthwhile to prescribe to yourself this medication - this should only be done by a specialist after preliminary examination and establishing the correct diagnosis. Otherwise, you risk: at best - just to lose time, which could be used for effective therapy, and at worst - to bring your body, sometimes irreparable, harm.

Indications of the sanguirithrina

Based on the pharmacodynamics of the drug in question, the indications for the use of Sanguirithrin have a fairly wide range of diseases, when the drug is stopped, this drug shows high therapeutic efficacy.

There is some delimitation on the use of Sanguirithrin, depending on its manufactured pharmacological form.

Sanguirythrin in the form of tablets is prescribed for the diagnosis of various infectious and inflammatory pathologies, both in the acute phase of manifestation, and in a situation where the disease has passed to the chronic plane:

  1. Salmonellosis is not so rare for today pathology.
  2. Dysentery, related to acute intestinal infectious lesions.
  3. Other foodborne toxicological infections.
  4. Reconvlevescent bacteriocarrier, acquired in various ways.
  5. Infectious damage to the body, obtained through damage to the skin. Complications of this pathology caused by pathogenic microflora.
  6. Dysbacteriosis, a provocateur of which is a violation of the balance of intestinal microflora.
  7. Pathological changes, the causative agent of which are pathogenic fungal forms. Such as microsporins, candidias, manifestations of pharyngomycosis.

The medicine in the form of alcohol solution and liniment (ointments, balms) is used:

  • Both medicinal and preventive therapy for infectious diseases for young patients, including newborns, infants and toddlers of the first years of life.
  • For relief of problems of the same nature in women in the period immediately before childbirth or immediately after delivery.
  • To prevent wound infection in the postoperative period.
  • With purulent inflammation of the skin and small patients.
  • As a medicine for infectious-inflammatory dermatoses caused by fungi and bacterial flora, including Candida albicans:
    • Dermatomycosis.
    • Neuroallergic inflammation of the skin, including various instances of the manifestation.
    • Superficial blastomycosis.
    • Pyoderma.
    • Cutaneous fungal pathological lesions.
  • Infectious and inflammatory diseases of mucous membranes.
  • Dental pathology:
    • Aphthous stomatitis.
    • Periodontitis.
    • Periodontal disease.
    • Ulcerative necrotic gingivostomatitis.
    • Other pathological lesions of the oral mucosa.
  • With pathology of ENT - organs:
    • Otitis, other inflammatory processes affecting the outer tissues of the ear canal and the middle ear area.
    • Angina.
  • Infected burns.
  • In the field of gynecology:
    • Vaginitis.
    • Erosion of the cervix.
    • Colpitis.
    • Endocervicitis.
    • And others.

Release form

Sangviritrin has two main active components in its composition, which predetermine its pharmacodynamics - heleritrine hydrosulfate (heleritrini hydrosulfas) and sanguinarine hydrosulfate (sanguinarini hydrosulfas).

Pharmacological characteristics have a fairly wide clinical field of action. Its form of output is also quite diverse. On the shelves of pharmacies you can find Sanguirithrin as a tablet, in the form of an alcohol solution, as well as a gel-like consistency.

  1. The tabletted form of Sangviritrin is produced by a coated protective shell, which allows it to pass unchanged to the intestine and only there dissolves. One tablet has 5 mg of a complex active product, converted to a pure substance. There are also auxiliary chemical compounds, which are included both in the composition of the drug itself and the outer shell being formed.
  2. The alcoholic solution used for local external use has 2 g of complex active substance, converted into a pure substance, in one liter of Sangviritrin. In addition to chelerythrin hydrogensulfate and sanguinarine hydrogensulfate, the solution contains 95% ethyl alcohol, as well as pure distilled water.
  3. The last presentation in which the drug under consideration is a liniment is a dosage form for external use, which is a thick liquid or gelatinous mass melting at body temperature. In 100 grams of it, 0.5 grams of the total amount of helerythrin hydrogensulfate and sanguinarine hydrogensulfate counted for pure substance is present. There are also some auxiliary substances, including distilled water and 95% ethyl alcohol.

Pharmacodynamics

Each of the two basic components of the drug in question, which pharmacologically complement and enhance each other's action, have their therapeutic characteristics, when combined, and the pharmacodynamics of Sanguirithrin is obtained. This medicine, obtained from the extract of such medicinal plants as a small-fruited and lightly-rooted macula. It is they who "dictate" the direction of the effective medical effect of the drug.

Sangviritrin is quite capable of resisting the multiplication and further development of numerous fungal strains, bacterial microorganisms that are endowed with increased rates of resistance, that is, the ability to withstand external influences.

The bacteria that are effectively inhibited by the drug include: Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Enterobacter, Acinetobacter, Proteus, Salmonella, Pseudomonas, Pyocioneus, protozoa of the genus Entamoeba, Shigella, Trichomonas, Serratia, Escherichia, and strains of fungal structures such as Trichophyton, Microsporum , Candida, yeast-like and filamentous fungi, some other microorganisms.

The main antibacterial, antiparasitic and antimicrobial mechanism of the drug effect is reduced to a violation of the permeability of the cell wall and / or wall of the invading "parasite". There is a depression of bacterial nuclease,

Disorder in the structural structure of the nucleotide.

Pharmacokinetics

Based on the fact that the drug is represented by a variety of different chemical compounds that have their pharmacokinetic characteristics, the pharmacokinetics of Sanguirithrin are not defined. This is due to the fact that carrying out a bio-study of the joint absorption, redistribution and withdrawal of the components of the composition is quite problematic. Do not help and use a special technique of markers.

Dosing and administration

Depending on the diagnosed disease and the site of its localization, the method of administration and dose of the administered Sanguirithrin is somewhat different.

For a newborn baby, the procedure is carried out for the first five to six days using a 0.2% solution of the drug in question. Sterile tampons soaked in such a liquid, twice a day, to prevent diaper rash and infectious infection, wipe children's wrinkles.

In the therapeutic treatment of periodontitis, wetted with a 0.2% solution of the medicinal product, the turundochocks are placed in the affected pockets of the gums, which are kept in the form of applications for 20 minutes. This treatment is performed every day or every other day, depending on the severity of the pathology and the tolerability of Sanguirithrin by the patient's body. The schedule of the procedure is indicated by the attending physician. Therapeutic efficacy is observed mainly after four to six procedures.

When an adult patient develops stomatitis of different genesis, a lotion is applied to the diseased portion of the mucosa, represented by 0.2% Sangviritrin solution. To achieve a rapid therapeutic effect, this procedure should be carried out two to three times throughout the day for two to five days, daily.

For younger patients who are already five years old, a more dilute solution is prepared. For children's rinses, a concentration of 0.005% Sangviritrin is used. Babies who are not yet 5 years old, the medicine is applied in the form of smearing of the affected area with 0.005% diluted solution. To prepare a drug of this concentration, which is prepared immediately before use (ex tempore), take a glass of warm boiled water and inject a teaspoon of 0.2% water-alcohol solution Sangviritrin.

If the tonsillitis is diagnosed as an otolaryngologist, the "sick" tonsils are lubricated once a day for two to five days with 0.2% Sangviritrin solution. In parallel with such procedures, rinses of the pharynx, conducted by a drug diluted to 0.005%, are added to the treatment protocol. Such procedures are allowed for adult patients and children over five years of age. Duration of therapy from three to seven days.

With external otitis two to three times a day, in the ear canal, a cotton swab, moistened in a 0.2% solution, is introduced, which is aged for about a quarter of an hour, after which it is removed. The duration of therapy for this disease is longer and is at least half a month. If the ENT - the doctor recognized the otitis media of the middle ear, which has passed into a chronic disease, and also burdened with a purulent process, to such a patient two or three times during the day instill in the ear canal five to eight drops of 0.2% alcohol.

If, for some reason, the skin has been damaged to prevent the development of inflammation and further complications in the form of a purulent process, the affected area is sanitized with 0.2% alcohol. To carry out the procedure, the cotton-gauze material is moistened in the medicine and applied to the affected area. Following the applicator, a sterile medical gauze impregnated with the same preparation is superimposed in several additions, the compression is fixed with a compression bandage on top. After three to four days, the procedure is repeated. The duration of the treatment course directly depends on the degree of infection. If, against the background of therapeutic treatment, complications are not observed, then on average, the recovery of pathology takes from seven to ten days.

If the skin lesion does not heal for a long time, as well as in case of infection of a burn or infectious lesion of ulcers, erosions and open fractures, diluted to 0.005% concentration of water-alcohol solution of Sanguirithrin is used for their treatment. The medicine sanitizes the affected area and is protected from above by a fixative bandage. If the infection is in the burn area, the bandage is changed once a day, if another type of infection occurs, the dressing is carried out one to two times during the day. The duration of stopping therapy depends on the degree of damage and the nature of the disease.

The instruction for the drug Sangviritrin solution states that in diseases of the dermatological nature, the lesion site is sanitized daily, one to two times, with 0.2% of the active compound concentration. The duration of therapeutic treatment depends on the nature of the disease.

If a woman has a pathology of a gynecological nature: erosive lesions of the cervix, colpitis, vaginitis, endocervicitis, a doctor - gynecologist appoints syringing, applying or irrigation of the pathologically affected area. These procedures are carried out using 0.005% aqueous-alcoholic liquid. To achieve a therapeutic effect, this procedure is carried out one to two times during the day, daily. The treatment is designed for five to ten medical procedures.

In the case of ointment (liniment), the drug is usually used for topical topical application. This form is applied to the skin one - two times during the day, during the replacement of the dressing - with pyoderma.

With stomatitis, the affected tissue is lubricated two to three times a day. Expected results are usually obtained after two to five days of therapy.

If superficial blastomycosis is diagnosed, the previously described procedure is performed once or twice a day. It will be enough to withstand the treatment for four to seven days, so that the problem will be solved.

Depending on the severity of wound injury, as well as the presence of aggravated complications, for example, ulcers, the wound surface is smeared daily or once every two to three days.

The agent in question is also given in tablet form. This form of therapy is acceptable for cholinesterases. For adults, the recommended dosage is oral administration, after meals, one to two tablets twice a day. The maximum daily dosage should not exceed three units.

With other internal pathologies, tablets may be administered at other dosages. When invading pathogenic flora, the starting amount of Sanguirithrin for an adult patient is assigned to two units three - four approaches throughout the day. If the clinical picture requires the introduction of more, it is allowed to bring the daily intake of up to nine tablets.

Dosage for patients of adolescence (from 10 to 15 years) is one or two tablets administered three times a day. The daily allowable amount of Sanguirythrin is no more than six.

The recommended amount of medicinal product for children, the age of which falls in the interval from five to ten years, is one tablet, administered three times - four times a day. The allowable daily amount is not more than four units.

For young patients who are three to five years old, the daily dosage is somewhat lower and is calculated by the formula: 1 mg for each year of the baby's life, separated by two to three doses. The permissible daily amount of Sanguirythrin is not more than three units.

The duration of the course of treatment is determined by the nature and severity of the disease. Average:

  • With microsporia, four to five weeks.
  • In the case of intestinal dysbiosis - from ten days to two weeks.
  • With an infectious disease caused by the invasion of pathogenic microflora - one - two weeks.
  • When acute intestinal infection - five to seven days.

If there is a clinical need for a re-therapeutic treatment, the decision on such therapy is made by the attending physician.

Use of the sanguirithrina during pregnancy

The female organism is quite sensitive to external influences of various kinds. Especially representatives of the weaker half of humanity begin to be more anxious about their body when the conception occurred and the woman is going to become a mother. In this period, any disease and any infection threatens not only the health of a woman, but also her unborn child.

But here there is a paradoxical contradiction: during the period of gestation, it is desirable to avoid taking any medication, and at the same time, if the infection has occurred, then urgent intervention is necessary to prevent even greater complications.

The use of Sanguirithrin during pregnancy and lactation is acceptable, but the decision to enter a drug in the protocol of therapy should be made only by the attending physician or obstetrician-gynecologist who is monitoring the pregnancy. The decision on the appointment of Sanguirithrin is taken if the real need for drug intervention in coping with a woman's health problem substantially exceeds the potential negative impact that the chemical compounds that make up the drug can have on the normal development of the fetus or the already born child.

Contraindications

Some respondents believe that if the drug is produced on the basis of plant components, it is completely safe and can not harm a person. But this is not so. Any medication, affecting the human body, can cure, but at the same time, it does not always have a positive effect on other organs and systems. There are also contraindications to the use of Sanguirithrin, which are limited to such pathologies:

  • Increased individual intolerance of one or more component constituents of the drug.
  • Liver dysfunction.
  • Renal failure.

At the same time, additional restrictions on admission affect various forms of output:

  • Tablets are contraindicated:
    • In the presence of a patient in the anamnesis, a predilection for epileptic seizures.
    • The presence of bronchial asthma.
    • Hyperkinesis is a disease caused by spontaneous convulsions and the tics of certain muscle groups that a person can not control.
    • With ischemic heart disease.
    • To small patients, whose age has not yet reached three years.
  • Ointments, gels and alcohol solution should not be prescribed for skin eczema and fungal infection of the epidermis.

Side effects of the sanguirithrina

Due to the fact that the human body is individual, it can react differently or not react to the introduction of a specific drug, manifesting itself in a certain symptomatology. There may be side effects of Sanguirithrin, but they also vary somewhat depending on the method of taking, the dosage and the form of taking the drug.

The reaction of the body to taking the pill can be expressed:

  1. Symptomatic of an allergic reaction.
  2. Nauseated.
  3. Appearance of emetic reflections.
  4. Abdominal pain manifestations.

Such pathological manifestations pass independently, it is enough to stop taking Sangviritrin.

The reaction of the body to the use of alcohol solution can be expressed:

  1. Manifestations of an allergic reaction.
  2. When rinsing the oral cavity, one can observe a bitter taste in the mouth.
  3. When treating wounds on the skin surface, the patient may feel a burning sensation for a short time.

Such pathological manifestations disappear when adjusting the dosage of the administered drug.

The reaction of the body to the use for liniment therapy can be expressed in the short-term burning of the skin surfaces at the treatment site.

Overdose

It is quite difficult to obtain an excess of the dosage of the drug if the form of therapeutic treatment is an ointment of external use or an alcohol solution of Sanguirithrin.

When oral drug medication in the form of tablets, an overdose is quite possible if the doctor's recommendations were not followed, or because of the individuality of the patient's body.

Symptomatology, to which the body responds to a large number of medications introduced into it, can be as follows:

  • Nausea.
  • In rare cases, vomiting may occur.
  • Dizziness.
  • Appearance of pain symptoms affecting the area of the abdomen and head.

When a patient has similar side effects it is necessary to give him first aid:

  1. Make a lavage of the stomach using an enema.
  2. If necessary, induce vomiting.
  3. Give a drink of any absorbent preparation, for example, activated charcoal.
  4. Be sure to inform your doctor.

To date, there is no full-fledged antidote. Usually, the doctor prescribes symptomatic therapy.

Interactions with other drugs

When a drug is introduced into a protocol, especially when combined with other chemical compounds, it should be well known what consequences may arise from the parallel administration of drugs from different pharmacological groups.

The interactions of Sanguirithrin with other drugs have not been thoroughly studied, there are no great developments in this field, but some recommendations on this issue can still be given.

The specialists who developed this medicine admit tandem work of the medicine in question and anesthetic drugs used for local "disconnection" of sensitivity.

Storage conditions

Depending on how correctly all storage conditions of Sangviritrin are performed, its level of pharmacological efficacy depends on the extent of the drug acceptable to the manufacturer. These recommendations are detailed in the instructions attached to the medication. They are not complicated, but their precise implementation is simply necessary.

  1. Sanguirythrin of any form of release must be kept throughout the period of permissible use in a cool place where the room temperature does not exceed + 25 degrees.
  2. Keep Sanguirithrin in a place inaccessible to small children.
  3. The medicine should not be exposed to direct sunlight, it reduces its shelf life and reduces pharmacodynamic activity.

trusted-source[3]

Shelf life

By issuing any medicine to pharmacy counters, the manufacturer must necessarily indicate on its packaging: the date of release of the drug and the final number after which the drug in question is used for medical and preventive purposes is undesirable. Further, Sanguirithrin begins to lose its pharmacological characteristics, and, therefore, it is not necessary to expect high medication effectiveness from such a drug.

Such negligence can lead to deterioration of the patient's condition and loss of precious time. The shelf life of the drug Sangviritrin is three years.
