Reumatin is a medicine prescribed for the treatment of diseases affecting the musculoskeletal system. It has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, tonic and calming effects.

The anti-inflammatory effect is quite weak and develops at a slow rate, but its duration is quite long. The medication significantly weakens or completely removes the signs of joint inflammation, relieves pain in gout and lumbago.

The drug also helps reduce blood lipids and cholesterol. In addition, patients' weight stabilizes, sleep improves, and their appetite is restored.

Indications Reumatin

It is used for therapy in cases of osteoarthritis, gout, rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis, neuralgia, lumbago, ankylosing spondylitis or lumbago.

Release form

The drug is released in the form of a medicinal elixir for oral administration.

Dosing and administration

The medicine should be taken orally, in a dosage of 30 ml (1 measuring cup), 3 times a day, before meals.

The therapeutic cycle lasts for 20 days.

  • Application for children

Reumatin is not used in pediatrics.

Use Reumatin during pregnancy

It is prohibited to prescribe the medication to pregnant women.

Contraindications

Main contraindications:

  • severe intolerance to medicinal components;
  • breast-feeding;
  • renal dysfunction;
  • liver cirrhosis.

Side effects Reumatin

Possible side effects include loss of appetite, prolonged headaches, insomnia, and signs of allergy.

Overdose

In case of poisoning with the drug, symptoms of severe intolerance may occur, in which case it is necessary to stop taking it. In addition, symptomatic actions are performed.

Storage conditions

Reumatin should be stored in a dark place, out of reach of children. Temperature values are in the range of 18-25oC.

Shelf life

Reumatin can be used for a period of 36 months from the date of manufacture of the medicinal substance.
