Propolis for atrophic gastritis

Atrophic gastritis is characterized by decreased contractile activity (peristalsis) of the walls of the stomach and esophagus. Propolis is used to increase the contractile activity of smooth muscles. As a result of atrophy, food moves poorly through the digestive tract, and stagnation is often observed. The danger of this condition is that complete paralysis of smooth muscles is possible, which entails stagnation of food, flatulence, further purulent-inflammatory and infectious processes, up to necrosis and sepsis. Malignant tumors often develop against this background. Propolis helps to combat these symptoms. It is recommended to use it as part of decoctions (recipes are discussed above). You can also dissolve and chew pure propolis in small pieces, add it to tea.

Propolis for gastritis and stomach ulcers

Propolis promotes wound healing, prevents the progression of erosions, wounds, and is a reliable means of preventing inflammatory and infectious processes. Due to these properties, it is used for both gastritis and stomach ulcers. It allows you to quickly relieve pain, reduces the likelihood of bleeding, and the risk of erosion growth. It is recommended to use fresh, sucking a small piece of propolis and swallowing saliva. Forms available in pharmacies have also proven themselves well. It is the pharmacy forms that are recommended for use in case of stomach ulcers and the risk of their development, since they are maximally adapted for penetration directly into the stomach. They penetrate the stomach unchanged. They affect the site of inflammation. They enter the stomach almost unchanged.

And, of course, there is always the opportunity to purchase pure propolis in large pieces from beekeepers and beekeepers.

Propolis in alcohol for gastritis

Most often, propolis is produced in the form of a tincture prepared with alcohol. Such a tincture is recommended for people with gastritis with high acidity, as well as for erosions, ulcers, and acute inflammatory processes. Sold in pharmacies, it contains 100% propolis infused with alcohol. Usually sold in 25 ml bottles. You can buy a ready-made alcohol tincture, or you can make it yourself by buying pure propolis at a pharmacy or directly from beekeepers. It is recommended to take alcohol infused with plant components as a base, or add plant extracts directly to the tincture. This significantly increases the activity of propolis.

Honey with propolis for gastritis

Honey has a powerful anti-inflammatory, antiseptic effect. Propolis mainly has a wound-healing and soothing effect, stops bleeding and prevents the risk of its development. In combination, these substances enhance each other and are an effective treatment for gastritis of any genesis. Usually, such a mixture is prepared quite simply: honey is melted over low heat, stirring constantly. Then propolis is added and dissolved. Keep until a homogeneous consistency is formed. The substances are taken in equal proportions. Take 5-15 grams at a time. Usually prescribed 3-4 times a day, if necessary, the frequency of use is increased to 6-7 times a day. Pharmacy propolis for gastritis

Propolis can be prepared at home by yourself. But many doctors prefer to choose pharmacy propolis for gastritis. This is explained by a number of reasons.

Firstly, such a preparation is pure, 100%, sterile. This allows to protect the patient, significantly reduces the risk of infection. Such propolis is often prescribed in the postoperative period, during exacerbation of gastritis, high risk of ulcers, erosions, bleeding.

Secondly, the drug has a precisely calculated dosage, which eliminates the possibility of overdose and significantly reduces the risk of developing side effects.

Most often, propolis is prescribed for gastritis in the form of a pharmacy tincture. There are many different propolis tinctures in the pharmacy, of varying concentrations. But most often, 100% tincture is used. The main difference is mainly only in the manufacturer: almost every manufacturer includes this product in its product range. The dosage and treatment regimen are selected by the doctor, depending on many factors, including the severity of the pathological process, the duration of the disease, the prognosis, and the characteristics of the course of the pathology.

Propolis with oil for gastritis

One of the most effective means of treating gastritis is oil. It acts as a universal base in which propolis can dissolve. Together, these components mutually enhance the therapeutic effect. With oil, any components quickly penetrate the stomach, while maintaining a natural, unchanged appearance, and all their natural properties. Oil softens the digestive tract, promotes wound healing, prevents the appearance of new erosions and wounds. Propolis also has a powerful wound-healing, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effect, reduces the risk of bleeding. Additionally, it is recommended to include in the mixture plant components that enhance the effect of oil and propolis, and also have an additional effect. Let's consider some compositions that are successfully used to treat gastritis.

  • Recipe No. 1.

It should be taken into account that milk is not useful for everyone. It is contraindicated for people with lactose intolerance and may be poorly tolerated by the elderly.

The recipe is quite simple: about 10-15 grams of propolis are dissolved in a glass of warm milk, drink a glass twice a day, preferably on an empty stomach. You can divide the daily dose into 4 doses.

Pharmacodynamics

The mechanism of action of propolis is based on the normalization of metabolic processes in the body, which is carried out under the influence of propolis and the components included in its composition. Propolis is characterized by a high content of resins, vitamins, minerals, flavonoids, phytoncides, which provides the main properties of the substance: antiseptic, anti-inflammatory action. Due to the high content of vitamin C, propolis has an additional antioxidant effect, removes radicals from the body, accordingly, the likelihood of intoxication, progression of infection is reduced. All this contributes to additional stabilization of cellular structures, improves cellular processes, tissue metabolism, quickly removes metabolites and toxins from the body.

Promotes that nutrients and vitamins accumulate more actively in cell membranes, which helps to stabilize them. At the tissue level, the inflammatory process is reduced and inflammation is eliminated. Promotes acceleration of absorption, removal of toxins and wastes, prevents the development of stagnation.

In addition, propolis is a source of carbohydrates, due to which it effectively provides the body with energy. It should be taken into account that this process is accompanied by an intensive release of glucose into the blood, which can be dangerous for diabetics.

The advantages of treatment with this remedy are that propolis does not put a strain on either the liver or kidneys. Peristalsis and motility increase significantly, the gastrointestinal tract is cleansed, congestion is eliminated, and feces are more effectively removed from the body. One of the effects of propolis is a mild laxative effect, which is especially useful for people prone to constipation.

It is also necessary to point out the disinfectant and antiseptic properties of propolis. Thanks to this, the body is cleansed, intoxication is removed, immunity is significantly increased, and hormonal levels are normalized. It is worth emphasizing the ability of the drug to increase local and systemic immunity, eliminate autoimmune reactions, and reduce resistance and endurance of the body. This contributes to accelerated recovery of the body, reduced bleeding, tendency to erosion, damage to the skin and mucous membranes. It helps to eliminate pain, accelerates metabolism, which significantly improves well-being.

Pharmacokinetics

Since propolis is a product of natural origin, obtained as a result of the vital activity of bees. It contains biological and chemical components containing over 70 substances useful for humans.

An important quality of propolis is its rich composition, which provides reliable immunization, maintains high rates of both local and systemic immunity. The quality of hemoglobin is significantly increased, the composition of the blood is improved, the blood formula is normalized, and biochemical indicators are as close to normal as possible. It is also worth noting that the microflora indicators also return to normal, accordingly, the condition of the gastric and intestinal mucosa is normalized, the inflammatory process is removed and prevented, and an unfavorable environment is created for the development of Helicobacter pylori, which are often the causative agents of gastritis and ulcers. The likelihood of intestinal microflora disorders is also significantly reduced.

In addition, under the influence of propolis, metabolic processes are normalized, reparation occurs faster, damaged tissues are restored, the epidermis, mucous and submucous layers are renewed.
