Phytolysin has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, diuretic and antimicrobial activity. These effects develop under the influence of bioactive elements that are part of medicinal plants.
Bioactive components potentiate the excretion of Cl and Na ions, as well as renal CF, and in addition, reduce the reverse resorption inside the renal tubules. Increase urine output without disturbing the salt balance. [1]

Indications Phytolysin
It is used for infections and inflammations of the urinary system, developing against the background of urolithiasis .
In addition, it is prescribed to prevent recurrence of urolithiasis (also after removal of calculi through surgery).
Release form
The release of the medication is realized in the form of a paste, from which an oral suspension is made - inside a tube with a volume of 100 g.
Pharmacodynamics
Flavonoids slow down the development of gram-positive flora inside the urinary ducts, potentiate the excretion of urea, and also block the oxidation of C-vitamin and prevent its conversion to oxalic acid.
Saponins have a powerful antibacterial effect against staphylococci.
Aglucones show an antispasmodic effect.
Silicates (Knotweed, pusher) help to maintain the balance of crystalloids and colloids inside the urine, preventing the formation of stones. Together with this, they improve the excretion of uric acid.
Dosing and administration
It is necessary to take the medicine in 1 teaspoon (about 5 g) of paste for 1 use. The paste is dissolved in 0.5 cups of boiled warm water. Phytolysin is used 3-4 times a day, after a meal.
The therapeutic cycle usually lasts 0.5-1 months. If necessary, it is allowed to be repeated.
If there is no improvement, worsening of the condition, or persistence of signs of the disease, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
Due to the increase in the volume of urine excreted during the period of therapy, it is required to consume an appropriate amount of fluid to replenish the balance.

Use Phytolysin during pregnancy
There is no information regarding the medicinal effect and safety of the drug when used in pregnant women, which is why it is not prescribed during the specified period. Contraindications

Phytolysin is able to potentiate the activity of hypoglycemic drugs, lithium salts, NSAIDs, anticoagulants and MAOIs. In addition, it can prolong the effects of paracetamol, pentabarbital and aminopyrine.
The drug is able to weaken the absorption of therapeutic substances inside the small intestine (among them cholesterol, α-tocopherol and β-carotene).
Storage conditions
Phytolysin must be stored in a place closed from the penetration of small children. Temperature readings should not exceed 25 ° C.
