Phytolysin has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, diuretic and antimicrobial activity. These effects develop under the influence of bioactive elements that are part of medicinal plants.
Bioactive components potentiate the excretion of Cl and Na ions, as well as renal CF, and in addition reduce resorption inside the renal tubules. Increase diuresis without disturbing the salt balance. [ 1 ]
The medication helps to wash out small urinary stones and sand; prevents the increase in the size of stones or their re-formation after surgery.
Indications Phytolysin
It is used for infections and inflammations of the urinary system that develop against the background of urolithiasis.
In addition, it is prescribed to prevent recurrence of urolithiasis (also after removal of stones by surgery).
Release form
The drug is released in the form of a paste, from which an oral suspension is made - inside a 100 g tube.
Pharmacodynamics
Flavonoids slow down the development of gram-positive flora inside the urinary tract, potentiate the excretion of urea, and also block the oxidation of vitamin C and prevent its conversion to oxalic acid.
Saponins have a powerful antibacterial effect against staphylococci.
Aglucones exhibit an antispasmodic effect.
Silicates (bird's knotweed, pusher) help maintain the balance of crystalloids and colloids in urine, preventing the formation of stones. At the same time, they improve the excretion of uric acid.
Dosing and administration
The medicine should be taken 1 teaspoon (about 5 g) of paste per use. The paste is dissolved in 0.5 cups of boiled warm water. Phytolysin is used 3-4 times a day, after meals.
The therapeutic cycle usually lasts 0.5-1 month. If necessary, it can be repeated.
If there is no improvement, the condition worsens, or the symptoms of the disease persist, you should consult a doctor.
Due to the increase in urine output during therapy, it is necessary to consume an appropriate amount of fluid to restore the balance.
