Fiton SD is part of a group of drugs that affect metabolic processes and the functioning of the digestive tract.

The components of the drug provide increased bile secretion and appetite, stimulate the exocrine activity of the pancreas and activate healing processes.

The drug helps improve the condition of the cardiovascular system in people with VSD, coronary heart disease, and in addition, at an early stage of arterial hypertension.

Indications Phyton sd

It is used in the combined treatment of diseases affecting the digestive system, in which the development of symptoms of dyspepsia is noted, as well as in cholangitis and cholecystitis.

In addition, it is used as an adaptogenic drug that increases the body’s non-specific resistance to negative external factors (including ionizing radiation).

It can be prescribed to stimulate mental and physical performance in various pathologies (elderly people are also included in this category).

Release form

The product is released in the form of an oral balm – inside bottles or vials with a capacity of 0.1 or 0.2 l.

Pharmacodynamics

The drug has an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect, helps to excrete radionuclides, increases the body's resistance to negative external factors (hypoxia, high temperature, radiation, etc.). In addition, it can improve mental and physical performance.

In case of lesions in the respiratory tract, the drug exhibits a mucomodulatory and expectorant effect.

The positive effect of the drug on disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, nervous system, cardiovascular system and respiratory system develops within 30-60 minutes from the moment of administration.

Dosing and administration

In case of therapy for complications associated with ionizing radiation, to prevent possible exposure to radiation, increase physical and mental performance, and also for bronchitis, the medicine is taken in a 15 ml portion (equivalent to 1 tablespoon), having previously diluted it in 0.5 glass (0.1 l) of cool boiled water. The procedure is carried out 2 times a day (in the morning and in the evening).

For elderly people, the medication is prescribed in a dosage of 5 ml (corresponds to 1 teaspoon), 2 times a day, half an hour before meals. However, if there is a need to enhance the therapeutic effect and good tolerability, the portion can be increased to 15-20 ml.

In the combined treatment of VSD, stable angina and elevated blood pressure (stage 1), the following scheme is used:

• 1st day – 30 drops, 3 times;
• 2nd – 60 drops, 3 times a day;
• 3rd – 5 ml of balm 2 times a day;
• 4th – 5 ml of the drug 3 times a day, diluted in ¼ glass (50 ml) of cool boiled water. The medicine should be taken 20-30 minutes before meals.

In case of damage to the digestive organs, Fiton SD is used in a 15 ml portion, diluted in 0.5 glass of water (0.1 l), 2 times a day (in the morning and in the evening), 0.5 hours before meals.

The duration of therapy is determined by the attending physician.

• Application for children

There is no information regarding the use of Fiton SD in pediatrics.

Use Phyton sd during pregnancy

It is prohibited to use the medication during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated to prescribe the drug to people with alcohol dependence.

Signs of intolerance to the components of the drug may be observed - itching and epidermal rashes.

Overdose

Allergy symptoms may occur, requiring discontinuation of the drug and use of desensitizing medications.

Interactions with other drugs

The balm potentiates the activity of antihypertensive medications, which is why the dosage of the latter must be reduced.

Fiton SD is able to potentiate the effects of antispasmodics and antianginal substances.

Storage conditions

Fiton SD should be stored in a dark place, protected from moisture penetration. Temperature values are in the range of 8-15 °C.

Shelf life

Fiton SD can be used for a period of 24 months from the date of manufacture of the medicinal product.
