Pharmacodynamics

Nyz-gel has a local anesthetic and anti-inflammatory effect. The active component of the drug, nimesulide, is a selective competitive reversible cyclooxygenase 2 inhibitor. The substance is able to reduce the content of certain prostaglandins that are present in the foci of inflammatory processes, as well as in the pathways of pain impulses in the spinal cord. All this leads to the appearance of analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.
