Memorin is a herbal medicinal product. It stabilizes cellular metabolism processes, tissue perfusion and blood rheological properties.
The substance has a dosage-dependent regulatory effect on the vascular system, potentiates the production of relaxing endothelial factor, and in addition has a vasodilating effect on small arteries and increases venous tone, which allows for the regulation of blood filling of blood vessels. [ 1 ]
Indications Memorin
It is used for the following disorders:
- intermittent claudication associated with arteriopathy in the area of the vessels of the legs (have a chronic obliterating form);
- visual impairments of vascular origin, as well as decreased visual acuity;
- cognitive impairment of various origins (due to stroke or traumatic brain injury, old age, as well as cerebrovascular insufficiency) or neurosensory impairment (aging-induced degeneration affecting the macula, as well as diabetic retinopathy);
- Raynaud's disease;
- tinnitus, hearing impairment, coordination disorder, dizziness of vascular origin.
Release form
The drug is released in the form of a liquid for oral administration - inside 40 ml bottles; the box contains 1 such bottle.
Pharmacodynamics
The drug stimulates intracerebral perfusion processes, as well as the flow of glucose and oxygen molecules into the brain; at the same time, it slows down erythrocyte aggregation and the action of factors that activate platelets.
Memorine strengthens the strength of vascular walls and has an antithrombotic effect. In addition, it inhibits lipid oxidation inside cell membranes and the binding of free radicals. It regulates the processes of release, destruction, and reabsorption of neurotransmitters, as well as their functioning as complementary endings. [ 2 ]
It demonstrates antihypoxic activity, stimulates metabolic processes within tissues and organs, and also promotes cellular accumulation of macroergs and increases the rate of oxygen removal with glucose, and also harmonizes mediating processes within the brain.
Pharmacokinetics
After taking the liquid inside, the absorption of the drug is complete and fast. Complete excretion of the drug occurs after 72 hours - through the lungs and kidneys. The half-life is 4.5 hours.
Dosing and administration
It is necessary to take the drug 20 drops orally (approximately 1 ml of medicine), 3 times a day, with food. On average, the therapeutic cycle is 3 months.

Use Memorin during pregnancy
There is no information regarding the safety and medicinal efficacy of the drug during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Contraindications
Contraindicated for use in people with severe intolerance to the components of the medication.
Side effects Memorin
Occasionally, taking medications may result in the following side effects:
- lesions affecting the nervous system: headaches and dizziness;
- digestive disorders: vomiting, dyspepsia and nausea;
- signs of allergy: swelling, rash, epidermal itching and redness.
Interactions with other drugs
Since 1 portion of Memorin contains 0.5 g of ethyl alcohol, this fact must be taken into account in case of combined use with some medications. Among them are drugs that have an antabuse effect relative to alcohol (increased heart rate, epidermal hyperemia and hyperthermia): chloramphenicol and griseofulvin with cephalosporins, as well as ketoconazole, chlorpropamide, cytostatics with 5-nitroimidazole derivatives and antidiabetic sulfamides.
In addition, the drug cannot be combined with neurodepressants.
Storage conditions
Memorin should be stored in a place out of the reach of small children, at room temperature.
Shelf life
Memorin can be used for a period of 3 years from the date of manufacture of the pharmaceutical product.

Analogues of the drug are the medications Ginos, Ginkyo, Bilobil with Ginkor Procto, Tanakan and Ginkoum with Vitrum Memory. In addition, the list includes Gingium, Memoplant and Ginkgo Biloba.
