One of the most unpleasant and quite dangerous problems of childhood is considered to be an increase in adenoids. While these formations of lymphoid tissue are small in size, they not only do no harm, but on the contrary, help to delay the infection from penetrating into the body, and help the body itself fight diseases, strengthening the immune system. But increasing in size under the influence of negative factors, adenoids become an obstacle to nasal breathing and can themselves provoke infectious and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory system. In such a situation, sitting back is not good. It is necessary to take urgent measures to help return the baby the ability to breathe normally. For example, the homeopathic drug "Job" for adenoids helps to do this even in an advanced form of the disease, which is treated mainly surgically.

Adenoids and homeopathy

Adenoids are physiologically determined formations consisting of lymphoid tissue. There is nothing wrong with a person having them, because adenoids perform an important function and protect the body from infection for a time. But constantly taking the brunt of the blow, they themselves can get sick.

In short, the situation looks like this. Bacteria and viruses entering the body through the upper respiratory tract (mouth and nose) are inhibited by lymphoid formations located above the tonsils and settle on them. If the child is sick often, the adenoids can no longer cope with them, and under the influence of pathogenic microorganisms, the organ becomes inflamed.

Weakening of the adenoids due to the inflammatory process leads to the fact that they cannot do their job well. Following the adenoids, the immune system also weakens. Inflammation in the adenoids in turn leads to tissue hypertrophy, i.e. their uncontrolled growth, which the immune system can no longer control.

The proliferation of lymphoid tissue itself would not be so scary if it did not block the beginning of the nasal passages on the back wall of the pharynx, located nearby. Constant nasal congestion leads to the child getting used to breathing through the mouth, which is fundamentally wrong and even dangerous. When breathing through the nose, some bacteria and viruses, as well as dust and allergens, are retained by special villi in the nasal passages and are removed with the help of a special mucous secretion. In the mouth, adenoids served for these purposes, but now they are no longer able to slow down bacteria and viruses. And even worse, they themselves become a source of infection.

This situation leads to the child becoming more frequently ill with respiratory pathologies, and not only the upper but also the lower respiratory tract (bronchi, trachea, lungs) are involved in the process. Diseases against the background of weakened immunity are more severe and often become chronic.

But frequent colds are just one tip of the iceberg called adenoiditis (inflammation of the adenoids). In fact, enlarged adenoids greatly change a child's life for the worse. He experiences: sleep and nutrition disorders, deterioration of cognitive abilities, hearing problems when the inflammatory process spreads to the auditory tube area, unaesthetic changes in the shape of the face, psychological problems, etc.

The prognosis of the disease depends on the degree of adenoids. If the pathology of the first degree, which is practically invisible externally and only slightly complicates nasal breathing at night, is treated with medication, then at the second stage of the disease the question of surgical removal of the tonsils may already arise. Doctors insist on treating the third (advanced) degree of adenoids only surgically, because it is associated with the virtually complete impossibility of breathing through the nose.

But if in traditional medicine the blockage of the nasal passages by more than half of the adenoid tissue is considered an indication for the appointment of an operation to remove the adenoids (and sometimes the tonsils), then homeopathy looks at this problem differently. Why remove what serves as the body's defense if you can try to return its previous functionality?! After all, the removal of the adenoids is only the restoration of nasal breathing, while the body is deprived of an obstacle to the infectious factor.

Unfortunately, traditional medicine and pharmacology do not yet have an effective drug that could help restore adenoids to their original size and function in severe situations. Anti-inflammatory drugs help only in the initial stages of the pathology.

But homeopathy, which many doctors consider pseudoscience and categorically do not recognize, has in its arsenal useful drugs that help with adenoids of any degree, and one of such homeopathic drugs is considered to be "Job". In fact, the full name of the drug sounds like Barberry Comp Iov-Malysh, but many doctors and parents are used to calling it "Job-Malysh".

The name of the drug itself suggests that it is intended for the treatment of children. In principle, in adulthood, problems with the tonsils are considered an exception rather than a rule. The fact is that by the age of 10-14, the adenoids atrophy, because the fully formed immune system no longer needs their help. The most frequent patients of the ENT specialist due to the enlargement of the adenoids are children aged 3-4 years.

And here the question arises: what to do at such an age, if lymphoid growths already significantly impede the child's breathing? It seems that you don't want to remove natural protection, and surgery, no matter what method is used, is a traumatic situation for the psyche, and is also associated with a certain risk. And traditional drug therapy in advanced cases is no longer effective.

Of course, you can risk waiting until the problem disappears by itself at the age of 12, but you will have to wait several years. How much will the child have to endure during this time? How will such a wait affect the health and development of the baby?

Indications A baby's I.V. for adenoids

Homeopaths suggest not to torment the baby with an unsafe wait and surgery, but to try to solve the problem of enlarged adenoids with homeopathic medicines such as "Job-Baby" and physiotherapy. By the way, "Job" is considered one of the most effective medicines in this regard, because it was created for this purpose.

Having read the manufacturer's instructions for "Job-Malysh", we see that the first indication for the use of the drug is precisely the therapy of hypertrophy (enlargement) of adenoids. However, there is also such a reservation that for adenoids the drug is effective as part of complex therapy, i.e. together with it, the homeopathic doctor usually prescribes 1-3 more drugs that complement the action of "Job-Malysh".

During the drug testing, it was found that it has a beneficial effect not only on inflamed adenoids, but also on other pathologies of the ENT organs. The drug has gained particular popularity due to its effective treatment of angina. By the way, the composition of "Job-Baby" is considered a family recipe and was developed based not so much on theoretical knowledge as on the practical experience of three generations of hereditary homeopathic doctors (information from the instructions attached to the drug by the manufacturer OOO "Talion-A"),

Not only homeopaths, but also many otolaryngologists have a positive attitude towards the drug, who include “Job-Baby” in the treatment regimen for such diseases as:

  • enlarged adenoids grade 1-3,
  • increased nervous excitability accompanying adenoiditis,
  • tonsillitis or sore throat (acute and chronic course),
  • frequently recurring episodes of colds
  • increased sensitivity of the nasopharynx to infections.

As for the last point, this feature is in most cases hereditary. This explains the fact that some children may never encounter the problem of adenoid enlargement even against the background of frequent pathologies, while others are forced to fight adenoiditis that has arisen practically out of nowhere, after a couple of episodes of colds.

Such an innate predisposition to many diseases due to the excessively sensitive tissues of the nasopharynx is called an adenoid or tuberculous-asthenic constitution, and enlarged adenoids are considered only one of its manifestations. It is believed that "Job-Baby" not only relieves inflammation, which leads to a reduction in adenoids, but also reduces tissue sensitivity, increasing local immunity.

Many homeopaths note that a pleasant consequence of the treatment and prevention of adenoiditis with the help of the drug "Job-Malysh" is the complete cure of concomitant pathologies, which include rhinitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis and even otitis (inflammation of the middle ear).

It is important to understand that when it comes to acute pathologies caused by the penetration of a bacterial infection into the body (for example, acute sinusitis), "Job-Malysh" can only be used as an auxiliary component of the treatment regimen. In this case, the fight against pathogenic microorganisms that caused the inflammation comes to the fore. And here, antibacterial agents are needed, not anti-inflammatory ones.

This homeopathic preparation is also used in the recovery period after respiratory pathologies, which is the prevention of repeated episodes of the disease. In the case of adenoids, this is very important, because even a surgical operation cannot always guarantee 100% success. In the case of incomplete removal, lymphoid tissue can begin to grow again.

"Job-Baby" for stage 2 adenoids helps to quickly relieve inflammation, as a result of which the lymphoid tissue decreases in size and returns to its original state. In this case, homeopaths prescribe the drug along with general strengthening medications and physical therapy.

"Job-Malysh" for grade 3 adenoids, which almost completely block the nasal passages, helps relieve inflammation and resorb lymphoid tissue, which in the vast majority of cases allows avoiding surgical treatment. The third degree is considered severe and requires urgent therapeutic measures, therefore, to speed up the onset of a positive result and enhance the effect of "Job-Malysh", it is supplemented with the homeopathic drug "Phthision", intended for the treatment of advanced forms of the disease.

Release form

"Job-Baby", very often prescribed by homeopaths for adenoids, is a multi-component remedy that has a form of release that is typical for homeopathic preparations - in the form of granules. Granules may differ slightly in color. Their color may fluctuate between white, grayish and creamy shades, which does not affect the properties of the composition.

The granules of "Job-Malysh" are small and sweet, without foreign tastes, which is very convenient in the treatment of children with adenoids and respiratory pathologies. Sick children become very capricious, their appetite worsens, so it is often so difficult to persuade the baby to eat something. And homeopathic round granules can be offered to the child as a treat instead of candy, and he will gladly accept such a tasty treatment.

The medicinal granules are placed in a jar made of dark glass with a plastic screw cap. The weight of the granules in the bottle is only 20 grams, but this amount is enough for approximately 4-4.5 months of treatment (1 gram of the drug is about 45-55 granules), after all, the duration of taking homeopathic medicines is quite long.

Speaking about the release form, one cannot help but mention the unique composition of the multi-component homeopathic medicine:

  • Iodine in dilution D6

On the one hand, iodine is an excellent antiseptic, which has a destructive effect on microorganisms on the surface of adenoids. On the other hand, it is a microelement, the content of which in the body determines the correct functioning of the thyroid gland, which produces hormones that regulate metabolic processes, stabilize the work of the central nervous system and other organs and systems of the body.

In principle, both effects of iodine in inflammation of the adenoids, associated with increased nervous excitability, will be useful.

  • Thuja occidentalis in cultivation D12

This attractive evergreen plant with a distinct scent has a strong antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and tonic effect on the body. The plant extract quickly relieves inflammation and helps restore the immune system.

  • Barberry fruits in D4 cultivation

In addition to the effects inherent to thuja, barberry also has an analgesic and antipyretic effect. It is commonly used to treat chronic inflammatory processes to avoid relapses.

  • Eupatorium perforatum herb in D6 dilution

It is a fighter against viruses and bacteria with a good anti-inflammatory effect. At the same time, it has a diuretic effect.

As we can see, the composition of the drug "Job-Malysh" is very rich, allowing to have a pronounced anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effect on adenoids and other pathologies of the respiratory system. This point is clear even to a child.

But what the word "dilution" with the letter D and a specific number means remains a mystery even for most adults. It's not as complicated as it seems. The letter D denotes decimal dilution, when one part of the active substance is diluted with a neutral substance (sugar or water) or a preservative (alcohol) in a certain ratio. The number next to the letter D denotes the number of such dilutions. For example, the number 3 will mean that the medicine was diluted in a ratio of 1:1000, and the number 6 - 1:1000000, i.e. the number denotes the actual number of zeros after the one.

In the granules "Job-Malysh", used for the treatment of adenoiditis, the auxiliary neutral component, which is used to dilute medicinal extracts to the required dilution, is sugar ground to a powder state.

Pharmacodynamics

The manufacturer's instructions state that the pharmacodynamics of the drug "Barberry Comp Iov-Malysh" for adenoids is due to the complex action of its components, which is typical for the vast majority of multicomponent drugs. The homeopathic composition, which should not be swallowed, but held in the mouth, allowing it to dissolve and cover the damaged tissues, quickly stops inflammatory processes in the oral cavity and nasopharynx, having a detrimental effect on bacteria and viruses that have settled in the lymphoid tissue.

But since the granules are taken orally, and the homeopathic medicine is absorbed into the blood, then only local action is not limited. Due to the complex local and systemic action, many inflammatory diseases of the respiratory system are cured in parallel with adenoids.

Like most homeopathic medicines, "Job-Malysh" is not fast-acting. A noticeable improvement in the condition of the little patient is usually noted after 2 or even 3 weeks after the start of therapy. But what is important is not how quickly the result comes, but how long it lasts. Regarding "Job-Malysh", it can be said that it has a prolonged effect and in the vast majority of cases helps the child forget about adenoids forever.

And the frequency of colds after a course of therapy with the drug is significantly reduced, given that children tolerate diseases much easier and without complications. This is facilitated by a decrease in the sensitivity of the nasopharynx and the entire body to the effects of the infectious factor. Thus, the homeopathic drug corrects the hereditary predisposition towards its reduction.

"Job-baby" is not a phytotherapeutic medicine, although it contains mainly plant components that have a therapeutic effect. It is more correct to call the drug phytohomeopathic, since its effect differs from the effect of pharmacy drugs of natural or chemical origin.

The difference is that at the beginning of treatment with homeopathic preparations, the patient's condition worsens, the symptoms of the disease worsen, which is a little scary for parents who are unprepared for such a turn of events, who are used to the fact that the medicine should give fairly quick relief. After the disease worsens, the body's defenses are activated, which is facilitated by all the active components of "Job-Malysh". It turns out that the body fights the disease on its own, but with the help of the active substances of the drug with a specific effect.

Pharmacokinetics

It is not for nothing that the granules of a homeopathic preparation should be held in the mouth until completely dissolved, because it is in the oral cavity that the absorption of the majority of the medicine occurs. The rest goes down into the gastrointestinal tract, where its further absorption and distribution occurs.

The drug has good penetrating ability, so it is soon found in various tissues and body fluids. Entering into chemical reactions inside the body, the medicinal composition does not form toxic compounds and does not accumulate in tissues, which prevents overdose and does not require dose adjustment.

Dosing and administration

The main condition for effective and safe treatment with homeopathic drugs is considered to be strict adherence to the dosage regimen. The dosage and frequency of taking the drug is calculated by a professional homeopathic doctor who has mastered the basics of this science and knows how various components of the drug can affect a person with certain constitutional features and the nature of mental processes. The latter is very important due to the fact that homeopathic drugs act on the principle of "fight fire with fire" and initially cause a deterioration in the patient's condition.

There are 2 common treatment regimens for the drug "Job-Malysh":

  • The drug is taken twice a day for 5 days, after which a two-day break is taken (during the acute period of the disease, the frequency of administration can be increased to 4-5 times a day).
  • The medication is taken every other day, 2-3 times a day. According to this scheme, "Job-Malysh" is taken together with the homeopathic remedy "Phthision", usually prescribed for the treatment of tuberculosis. The drugs are taken alternately every other day.

Homeopathic granules are not the usual tablets that we need to swallow and wash down with water so that they dissolve in the stomach and begin to be absorbed into the blood. Taking granules is somewhat reminiscent of therapy with some cardiac drugs. They need to be kept in the mouth until completely dissolved, it is from the oral cavity that the absorption and action of the medicine begins.

Pharmacokinetic features also determine the time of taking homeopathic medicines. Granules "Job-Malysh" should be taken half an hour before meals, so that food does not interfere with its distribution throughout the body. Alternatively, the medicine can be taken half an hour, or better yet, an hour after eating. There is no need to wash down the granules with water.

As for the dosage of the drug, the instructions provide the following information:

  • The dosage for children over 12 years of age and adult patients is 10 granules per dose.
  • Children over 6 and under 12 years of age should take 8 granules at a time.
  • For children aged 3-6 years, the effective dosage is calculated based on the rule: 1 granule per 1 year of the child's life. Thus, a 3-year-old child needs to take 3 granules, and a 6-year-old toddler is prescribed 6 granules per dose.

The dosage recommendations noted in the annotation to the drug "Job-Malysh" are relative. If the otolaryngologist prescribes treatment strictly according to the instructions, then the homeopathic doctor can adjust the dose depending on the child's height and weight. Dose adjustment is also carried out in the absence of positive dynamics after 2-3 weeks of treatment.

The course of treatment with the drug indicated on the medicine package is 7-10 days, but in reality, the homeopathic drug cannot solve the problem in such a short period of time. Homeopathic doctors believe that treatment with the drug should be continued for at least 2 months in order not only to obtain a positive result, but also to consolidate it.

You can also take "Job-Malysh" for adenoids for preventive purposes, but according to a different scheme. The dosage remains unchanged, but the frequency of administration is reduced to 1 time per day 3 days per week for a course of 6 weeks.

Contraindications

The homeopathic preparation "Job-Malysh", intended for the treatment of unpleasant and dangerous symptoms observed with enlarged adenoids, has very few contraindications for use. This is typical for many homeopathic preparations, which distinguishes them from traditional medications. After all, the fewer contraindications, the less harm the medicine can cause to a person. And isn't this important when it comes to our children, and chemical preparations are just trying to covet their liver, kidneys, heart, stomach, central nervous system, etc.

The main contraindication to the use of homeopathic remedies, including the drug "Job-Malysh", is considered to be hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. It is almost impossible to completely exclude such a contraindication, because each organism is individual and you never know where it will give in, which will manifest itself in the form of hypersensitivity reactions (allergic reactions of varying severity, irritation of the skin and mucous membranes).

The next contraindication is related to the presence of iodine in the drug. Excess, as well as deficiency, of this microelement can negatively affect the functioning of the thyroid gland, therefore, in case of diseases of this organ, it is better to refuse iodine-containing drugs, unless, of course, the endocrinologist does not think otherwise.

In pediatrics, the drug can be used from 3 years of age, which is also noted in the manufacturer's instructions.

"Job-Malysh" is considered a children's drug, since the problem of adenoids is relevant at this age. However, in rare cases, an increase in lymphoid tissue in the nasopharynx can also be observed in adults, which in severe cases also requires treatment. The drug can be used to treat adults, but its use during pregnancy is somewhat limited. The instructions say that you can resort to the help of "Job-Malysh" only if the possible risk to the life and health of the mother is higher than that for the unborn child.

Caution in treating with homeopathic granules should also be observed in patients diagnosed with diabetes. Considering that the concentration of active substances in the medicine is extremely low, the main component of the granules is sugar, the use of which in diabetes is fraught with negative consequences. A consultation with a homeopath in this case is mandatory, because only it can help to avoid worsening the patient's condition and confirming the life saying: "we treat one thing, we cripple another."

Side effects A baby's I.V. for adenoids

Be that as it may, but "Job-Baby" helps with adenoids without causing an overdose. And the drug's side effects are considered very rare. Allergic reactions in the form of skin rashes and tissue edema are most likely caused by the body's increased sensitivity to one or more components of the homeopathic drug.

The body's reaction to the drug is always individual. In some cases, after a few days, a noticeable deterioration in the child's condition is observed, the symptoms of the disease become more acute. There is nothing terrible about this, the medicine just began to act actively, and the body was not yet ready to withstand the onslaught. In this case, it is recommended to take a short break for a period of 5 to 7 days, and then continue taking the drug according to the prescribed regimen.

If the symptoms recur or the child gets even worse, you should consult a doctor to review the treatment plan. It may be necessary to reduce the dose or frequency of administration, and in some cases replacing the drug with another homeopathic remedy of the same type, but with different components, helps.

Positive dynamics in the treatment of adenoids can be expected from such homeopathic remedies as Calcarea carbonica, Thuja (various manufacturers), Lymphomyosot and Euphorbium compositum. As for the last two drugs, their effectiveness in treating adenoids is not in doubt even among opponents of homeopathic treatment. Doctors of traditional medicine consider these drugs stronger than "Job-Baby", which, in their opinion, shows results only against the background of treatment with other, stronger remedies. Homeopaths are inclined to believe that in most cases it is sufficient to combine therapy with the above-mentioned drug with the intake of general strengthening drugs.

Overdose

Usually, the instructions for any medications contain a section explaining the conditions for the occurrence of an overdose phenomenon, as well as information on what treatment may be needed in this regard. In the instructions for the drug "Job-Malysh", often prescribed by doctors of traditional and alternative medicine for adenoids and respiratory pathologies, this section is very scanty.

During the testing and active use of the drug, no overdose phenomena were registered. And this is not surprising, if you consider the dilutions in which the active substances are presented in the children's homeopathic remedy. Their concentration in the drug is so small that the drug is simply unable to cause an overdose with intoxication phenomena.

In principle, for the same reason, many doctors consider homeopathic treatment a "dummy", claiming that it is rather based on the "placebo" effect. This phenomenon can be described in the words of the Bible: and according to your faith it will be given to you. A person is cured of an illness only because he believes in his recovery, and this faith activates the protective functions of his body.

True, this assertion of the adherents of traditional methods of treatment can also be questioned if we take into account the fact that homeopathic remedies are used to treat even small children, for whom the concept of faith does not yet have much meaning. Numerous testimonials in favor of homeopathic treatment from parents of already healthy children indicate that it helps regardless of whether the child was convinced that he would become healthy thanks to sweet granules or not.

Interactions with other drugs

The homeopathic preparation "Job-baby" is also used in their practice by some otolaryngologists, including it in a treatment regimen consisting of pharmacy drugs of plant and chemical origin. No interaction with other drugs dangerous to the health of a child or an adult has been observed.

On the contrary, the drug is perfectly combined in one scheme with such means as "Sinupret" (to reduce swelling of the nasopharyngeal tissues), "Nazivin" (to improve nasal breathing), "Erius" (to reduce inflammation), nasal rinsing means based on purified salt or sea water, vitamin-mineral complexes, traditional medicine recipes. And in combination with physical procedures it gives a remarkable lasting effect.

Shelf life

The shelf life of the drug is 3 years, provided that the storage conditions have not been violated. And the manufacturer recommends storing the drug in the form of granules in its original packaging with the lid closed. The storage temperature should not be higher than 25 degrees.

Reviews of the drug

Homeopathic preparations, which include "Job-Malysh", effective for enlarged adenoids, always cause a lot of controversy and contradictory reviews, because this branch of science is still relatively new, and its methods are not clear to everyone. The principle of "fighting fire with fire", which, by the way, began to be practiced long before the first mentions of homeopathy, seems frightening to most people. On the Internet, you can find negative reviews based on subjective fears, and not on the practice of using the drug.

There are also reviews like this: "having taken the vaunted drug for a week, I did not feel any improvement." People who prescribe the drug themselves without delving into the mechanism of its action write something like this. It is important to understand that the instructions only provide recommendations, and they are intended for doctors rather than patients. In practice, homeopaths themselves develop effective treatment regimens (within the limits recommended by the manufacturer), and also determine the dosage and duration of drug administration necessary in each specific case.

Those who used "Jov-Malysh" according to the scheme prescribed by the homeopathic doctor (and there are most of them) noted high efficiency in the treatment of adenoids. After only 3 weeks, the lymphoid growths decreased in size, and after the end of the course of treatment, they completely returned to normal. Happy mothers did not write about relapses of the disease after treatment with "Jov-Malysh". Doesn't this speak of the effectiveness of the treatment?

There are many reviews from parents whose children are still undergoing treatment with the drug. Some have already noted positive dynamics, while others are still only pinning great hopes on the harmless homeopathic drug. But almost all mothers and fathers claim that during treatment with "Job-Malysh" their children do not suffer from colds at all, although before that they simply did not get out of the hospital due to respiratory infections.

And what is the hope of curing a child with grade 3 adenoids without surgery to remove them and preserving the child's immunity for the future? And there are quite a few such reviews. Doctors are very categorical in advanced cases - surgery and period.

An important point when choosing the type of treatment is the doctor's qualification. There is no doubt that the homeopath to whom parents entrust the treatment of their baby must have the appropriate medical education, allowing him to provide effective assistance to the child in unforeseen situations (for example, in case of intolerance reactions).

Traditional medicine doctors also insist on this. It would be wrong to say that they are skeptical about the drug "Job-Malysh". Skepticism rather concerns the principles of homeopathic treatment and the dosages of active substances in homeopathic drugs. But on the other hand, doctors believe that homeopaths have more effective drugs for treating adenoids.

Based on the information about the composition of the drug "Job-Malysh", some doctors of traditional medicine (in particular, the Russian otolaryngologist with experience I.V. Leskov, who is engaged in the development of innovative methods for the treatment of ENT diseases) consider the main effect of the drug to be the choleretic effect. And the outflow of lymph, due to which the size of the adenoids decreases and the inflammatory process is stopped, is called a useful side effect of the homeopathic medicine, which occurs in only 5% of cases.

Doctors consider it inappropriate to treat stage 3 adenoids with the above-described drug, which is most likely accompanied by severe bacterial inflammation, indicated by mucus and pus in the nasopharynx. Lymph drainage cannot be expected with severe inflammation, but the choleretic effect can cause disruption of the gastrointestinal tract with the development of biliary dyskinesia.

It is difficult to say who is right in this matter. If a homeopathic doctor with a higher medical education prescribes the drug "Job-Malysh" for adenoids of the 2nd or 3rd degree, and not any other medicine, he probably has every reason to believe that such treatment will be sufficient and quite safe. And if the effectiveness of the drug is so low, then how can we explain the multiple positive reviews from parents of children who became healthy thanks to this drug? Perhaps the probability of such a "side effect" is much higher than doctors believe. And even if "Job-Malysh" helped at least one child avoid surgery, this is already worth a lot.
