Hepacinar demonstrates a choleretic effect. Its medicinal activity is due to the action of bioactive components contained in the composition of the drug.

An extract obtained from artichoke leaves helps the secretion and flow of bile, and with it the hepatic secretion of bile acids and the excretion of fluid. [ 1 ]

Artichoke extract consumption reduced serum cholesterol and triglyceride levels, with the most rapid reduction in LDL fraction.

Indications Hepacinar

It is used in cases of dyspeptic disorders ( bloating, belching, a feeling of heaviness in the epigastric region, as well as nausea) and dyskinesia of the bile ducts in a hypotonic-hypokinetic form.

In addition, it is prescribed in cases of non-calculous cholecystitis (chronic stage) and hepatitis of various origins (chronic).

Release form

The drug is released in capsules - 10 pieces inside a cell plate; the pack contains 2 such plates.

Pharmacodynamics

Choleretic effect.

By potentiating bile secretion, the severity of signs of digestive dysfunction is weakened, which helps to facilitate the process of fat digestion and protects the intestinal mucosa from the effects of acids. Bile acids entering the duodenum stimulate intestinal peristalsis, helping to improve digestive activity.

It is believed that such effects are provided by cynarin with chlorogenic acid, caffeoylquinic and other acids that stimulate the secretory activity of the liver, and in addition to this, bitters with sesquiterpene lactones.

Effects on lipid metabolism.

Elements of artichoke extract are able to potentiate cholesterol elimination – stimulating bile secretion and also inhibiting cholesterol binding.

Dosing and administration

The medicine is used 1 capsule 3 times a day. The capsule should be taken 15-30 minutes before meals.

The portion size and duration of treatment are selected by the doctor individually, taking into account the intensity of the pathology. Often, such a cycle lasts 14-21 days.
