Hepacinar demonstrates a choleretic effect. Its medicinal activity is due to the action of bioactive components that are contained in the composition of drugs.

Indications Hepacinar
It is used in case of dyspeptic disorders ( bloating, , belching , feeling of heaviness in the epigastric zone, as well as nausea) and having a hypotonic-hypokinetic form of bile duct dyskinesia .
In addition, it is prescribed in the case of cholecystitis of a non-calculous variety (chronic stage) and hepatitis of a different nature (chronic).

Pharmacodynamics
Choleretic effect.
By potentiating bile secretion, the severity of signs of digestive dysfunction is weakened, which helps to facilitate the process of fat digestion and protects the intestinal mucosa from the effects of acids. Bile acids entering the duodenum 12 stimulate intestinal peristalsis, helping to improve digestive activity.
It is believed that such effects are provided by cynarin with chlorogenic acid, caffeine and other acids, which stimulate the secreting activity of the liver, and in addition to bitterness with sesquiterpene lactones.
Impact on lipid metabolism.
Elements of artichoke extract are able to potentiate cholesterol elimination - by stimulating bile secretion, as well as inhibiting cholesterol binding.
Dosing and administration
The medicine is applied in 1 capsule 3 times a day. You need to consume the capsule 15-30 minutes before a meal.
The size of the portion and the duration of treatment are selected by the doctor personally - taking into account the intensity of the development of the pathology. Often this cycle lasts 14-21 days.

Hepacinar is not prescribed to persons under 12 years of age.
Use Hepacinar during pregnancy
The medication is not used in pregnant women and during breastfeeding.
Contraindications
The main contraindications:
- strong sensitivity associated with artichoke and other plants from the Asteraceae subspecies;
- blockage of the bile ducts;
- cholelithiasis;
- active phases of renal / hepatic disease;
- insufficiency of liver function.
Side effects Hepacinar
Prolonged use of large dosages of the medication can cause diarrhea, nausea, pain in the upper abdomen, heartburn, and signs of allergies.
Overdose
In case of poisoning, side effects can be potentiated.
In such cases, you need to discontinue the medication and perform a gastric lavage. Symptomatic actions are also carried out. Hepacinar has no antidote.
Interactions with other drugs
The drug is able to reduce the effect of coumarin anticoagulants (among them warfarin with phenprocoumon). Because of this, the dosage of the latter must be adjusted.
Combination with cholesterol-lowering and -azotemic substances can potentiate their therapeutic activity.
Storage conditions
The hepacinar must be kept in a place out of the reach of small children. Temperature indicators - no more than 25 ° С.
Shelf life
Hepacinar can be used for a 2.5-year term from the date of release of the pharmaceutical product.
