Heliskan is a medicine for the treatment of immunodeficiency conditions. Let's consider the indications for its use, dosage, possible side effects and other nuances of use.

Indications Heliskan
The drug is prescribed for the treatment of immunodeficiency conditions against the background of viral, bacterial and fungal infections of various localizations.
Indications for use of Heliscan:
1. Treatment and prevention of dysplastic pathologies
- Benign diseases (polycystic disease of various localizations, mastopathy).
- Precancerous conditions (dysplastic lesions of the cervical mucosa, polyposis).
- Complex treatment with chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
2. Prevention and therapy of immune-dependent diseases

Release form
The medicine is produced in the form of a tincture. The solution contains the following components:
- Calendula flowers 1.5 g
- Leaves and shoots of mistletoe white 1.5 g
- Oat grass 1.5 g
- Sophora japonica fruits 1 g
- Rhizomes and roots of peony 1.5 g
- Celandine herb 1.5 g
- Milk thistle fruits 1.5 g
- Ethyl alcohol 40%
This form of release simplifies the process of using Heliskan. Each 100 ml bottle contains an alcohol tincture of plant materials.
Pharmacodynamics
The therapeutic effect of the drug is due to its composition - biologically active plant substances. Pharmacodynamics indicates an immunomodulatory, tonic, antitoxic and stress-protective effect of the drug.
The tincture minimizes side effects and maintains normal levels of bone marrow hematopoiesis during radiation and cytostatic therapy, which increases the body's resistance.
Pharmacokinetics
After application, the tincture is quickly absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and spreads throughout the body, providing a therapeutic effect. Pharmacokinetics is due to the complex of biologically active components that are part of its composition.
- Marigolds have wound-healing, anti-inflammatory, choleretic and bactericidal effects. The plant reduces reflex excitability.
- The roots and rhizomes of peony have an analgesic and calming effect and increase the acidity of gastric juice.
- The shoots and leaves of mistletoe have a hemostatic, diuretic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and hypotensive effect. The plant component reduces the excitability of the central nervous system and stimulates the cardiovascular system.
- Celandine herb has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antifungal effects. The plant has antihistamine, cytostatic and immunosuppressive properties.
- The fruits of spotted milk thistle have choleretic and choleretic properties, improve the functioning of the liver and normalize the digestive tract.
- The fruits of Japanese pagoda tree accelerate tissue regeneration, have a wound-healing effect, increase the absorption of ascorbic acid, and reduce the permeability and fragility of capillaries.
- The grass of common oats has diuretic, diaphoretic and antipyretic properties.
Dosing and administration
To achieve a stable therapeutic effect, a treatment plan and duration are selected individually for each patient. The method of administration and doses of Heliskan depend on the indications for its use. The drug is prescribed for oral administration.
- Complex therapy – 10 ml of Heliscan is diluted in a small amount of water and taken 30 minutes before meals 2-3 times a day.
- Radiation and cytostatic therapy - 15 ml diluted with water, 30 minutes before meals. The course of treatment is 7-30 days. With long-term therapy, it is recommended to take short breaks of 5-7 days after each month of treatment.
Long-term use of a dosage significantly exceeding the recommended one leads to intoxication of the body. The patient experiences symptoms of nausea and vomiting, slow pulse, dizziness, loss of consciousness.

Use Heliskan during pregnancy
Many medications are prohibited for use by expectant mothers, as they negatively affect the process of bearing and development of the fetus. The use of Heliskan during pregnancy is contraindicated. This is due to the fact that many active components can penetrate the placental barrier and affect the process of formation of the child.
The medication is not used during lactation. During treatment, it is necessary to refrain from driving vehicles and working with mechanisms, since the active substances affect the speed of psychomotor reactions. The tincture is not prescribed for the treatment of pediatric patients.
Contraindications

Since the tincture contains ethyl alcohol, it increases the body's sensitivity to neuroleptics and clonidine, reducing the mechanism of action of thiamine.
The drug enhances the activity of bile-excreting, anti-inflammatory and sedative drugs. Simultaneous use with neuroleptics, sedatives, tranquilizers, hepatoprotectors and antidepressants enhances their effect.
Storage conditions
Since Heliskan is produced in the form of a tincture, it is very important to observe the storage conditions. The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children, protected from sunlight and moisture. The recommended storage temperature is from 15 °C to 25 °C.
It is worth paying special attention to the fact that during storage, sediment may fall out in the tincture, which does not affect its effectiveness. Therefore, before using the medicine, the bottle must be shaken well and diluted only with boiled or purified water.

Shelf life
Heliskan must be used within 24 months from the date of manufacture. The expiration date is indicated on the packaging or bottle of the tincture. After its expiration, the medicine is disposed of. The use of an expired medicine causes uncontrolled side effects. If the solution has changed its physical and chemical properties before the expiration date, it is also prohibited to take it.
