Éveik-Md - antiallergic agent, intended for systemic use.
Indications Ewijk-Md
Éveik-Md is intended for removal of symptoms of an allergy: conjunctivitis, urticaria, neurodermatitis. Suitable for the treatment of seasonal and all-year-round allergic rhinitis, as well as Quincke's edema, with allergies to the bites of bees, wasps, mosquitoes, with the integrated therapy of chronic eczema.
Release form
The drug is a tablet for resorption, round, white, the shell is missing. Tablets have a pleasant mint smell and taste.
Pharmacodynamics
The active ingredient Evejk-Md is loratadine. In one tablet it contains 10 mg. The drug affects the peripheral H1-receptor histamine. Evaik-Md inhibits cell degranulation and blocks prostaglandins. Does not penetrate the BBB. Does not inhibit the capture of noradrenaline, does not affect the function of the cardiovascular system. Bioavailability of the drug is proportional to the dose taken.
Pharmacokinetics
After taking the pill inside, Evaik-Md is absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, reaching a maximum concentration after 2 hours. There is a high rate of binding of loratadine to plasma proteins. The half-life is about 8 hours. The most part is excreted in urine and feces, 27% - in the first day after administration, the rest - for a long time, about 10 days.
Dosing and administration
Assign 1 tablet per day to adults and adolescents over 12 years. Children under the age of 12 years are selected by a doctor, based on weight, as a rule, this is a half tablet. Treatment takes about a week. Relieves allergy symptoms within half an hour.
Use Ewijk-Md during pregnancy
Evaik-Md can not be taken during pregnancy and lactation.
Contraindications
Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation, as well as the age of the child under 2 years.
Side effects Ewijk-Md
Evaik-Md can cause dryness in the oral cavity, drowsiness, inflammation of the stomach and duodenum, disturbance of the heart rhythm by the type of arrhythmia.
Overdose
Exceeding the dose of Evaic-Md can cause tachycardia and drowsiness. Treatment is symptomatic. It is recommended to wash the stomach.
Interactions with other drugs
Cimetidine and erythromycin, ketoconazole increase the concentration of the drug in the blood. Be careful when taking with Evaik-Md neuroleptics, antidepressants, sedatives, as well as other antihistamines. If you are taking any medications, tell your doctor about it. Do not drink alcohol during treatment. Also with antibiotics and macrolides, Evaik-md is incompatible.
Allergies can occur on any harmless stimulus: animal hair, dust, chemicals in detergents, cosmetics, pollen, medicines, insect bites. You may have an allergic rhinitis with intolerable itching in the eyes and sneezing, asthma attack and eczema, hay fever, hives and vomiting. In addition to the treatment of Eveik-Md, you can try to help yourself: prepare a saline solution - 1 tsp. Salt per liter of water and rinse it with your nose, you can also include a salt lamp, which can be bought at any hardware store.
Storage conditions
Store in a dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children, at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C.
