Phytotherapy in gynecology is an alternative to many hormonal drugs. Pharmacologists have achieved particular success in the treatment of uterine bleeding, PMS and inflammation of the female genital organs with herbs. For example, our great-grandmothers knew about the healing properties of oak bark and used it for douching. St. John's wort with its essential oils, medicinal resins and high content of vitamins, especially vitamin C, was also widely used. This herb has a sedative effect no worse than valerian. St. John's wort contains hypericin, which is excellent at fighting depression. Chamomile has a bactericidal effect - such a seemingly simple, common and inconspicuous flower. It perfectly relieves pain and activates the main guardian of our health - immunity. It is well suited for local use in the treatment of vulvitis and colpitis. Eucalyptus, calendula, and calamus can be used for the same purposes. Marsh cinquefoil leaves, elecampane rhizome, and agrimony grass can be used for microclysters. It is useful to take warm baths with birch leaves, but only between periods. Ergot preparations and nettle decoction are used to combat heavy periods and uterine bleeding. For the treatment of painful periods, use chamomile, viburnum, celandine, and henbane. Sage, like chamomile, has bactericidal properties.
Hops, sweet clover, linden and licorice are known as sources of phytoestrogens – plant analogues of female sex hormones. But to start treatment with phytoestrogens, you need to know the level of your own sex hormones. You may have to wait for a long treatment, more than a month. You cannot expect a quick effect from phytotherapy. Phytoestrogens are supplied to food with soy and berries. Phytoestrogens have an antitumor effect.
In case of chronic inflammation of the uterine appendages, herbal infusions with antimicrobial and soothing effects may be recommended. Such herbs are included in the drug Evika. After taking it, your general well-being will improve, your blood vessels and nervous system will be strengthened. The advantages of herbal medicine in gynecology are beyond doubt: herbs act favorably on the female body, very gently, there is no withdrawal effect.
Phototherapy of the 21st century is based exclusively on scientific data. Today it is experiencing a rebirth. Thanks to modern technologies, precise dosages down to milligrams have become available, medicines have become easy to take, and they can be stored for a long time. As elsewhere, in phytotherapy, the quality of treatment is determined by knowledge in the field. Modern medicine successfully works with plants. The pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of plants are studied in depth to this day, although most of their properties have long been studied, new unique properties are discovered. Since 1989, more than 60 monographs devoted to phytotherapy have been published. Food and dietary supplements are not classified as phytotherapy. Modern phytopreparations must be of impeccable quality and safe. The content of nutrients in plants depends on the soil, fertilizers, and how well the raw materials are processed. Therefore, plants for phytotherapy are specially grown, their growth is monitored at all stages. The plants from which the drug Evika is produced are no exception. The raw materials are processed using a special technology and specially cleaned. The frequency of side effects of Evika is almost 4 times lower than that of similar synthetic drugs.
In serious cases, the approach to treatment should always be comprehensive, and herbal medicine should only be of an auxiliary nature. Often it is necessary to treat not only gynecological diseases, but also other concomitant diseases to achieve a good result. And a good result is, first of all, a happy and flourishing woman. And you can flourish only if you are healthy. Often, women with gynecological diseases have a disordered nervous and urinary systems. That is, to solve your problems, a gynecologist, urologist and neurologist will cooperate. The best effect is achieved by herbal medicine together with antibiotics, hormones, physiotherapy and spa treatment. If a woman is bothered by debilitating bleeding, she is prescribed vitamin K.
Premenstrual syndrome is a particular torment for women of all ages. Everyone knows that almost all women become irritable, tearful, have mood swings shortly before their period, and also constantly want to sleep and have swollen legs. Hot flashes and sleep disorders are a common complaint of women over 40. Evika successfully combats all these symptoms. Phytotherapy is especially relevant for those women who cannot or do not want to undergo hormone replacement therapy. Some hormonal drugs are very poorly tolerated by patients. The ideal remedy for climacteric disorders should also protect against osteoporosis. It is hormonal changes that lead to bone tissue losing density after menopause. When treated with synthetic hormones, the risk of developing breast cancer increases, while with Evika, this risk not only does not increase, but also decreases slightly. There are also known cases of stroke and venous thrombosis associated with HRT. Such side effects did not occur when taking herbal preparations.
Due to the fact that Evika and other herbal preparations in gynecology began to be produced in the form of tablets and capsules, their use has become very convenient, the herb no longer needs to be brewed and worry about proportions. Evika can be used regardless of the menstrual cycle, during menstruation, treatment does not need to be interrupted. Evika is optimal for patients who refuse to take hormonal drugs. It has a positive effect not only on the reproductive system, but also on the nervous system due to the valerian and chamomile included in its composition. Evika has an astringent, antispasmodic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and hemostatic effect. The anti-inflammatory effect of the drug Evika is realized by contracting the uterine muscles, which is why the drug is not prescribed to pregnant women - the tone of the uterus increases when taken.
