Evinopon belongs to the group of anti-inflammatory and antirheumatic drugs.

The advantages of diclofenac, like other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, are the rapid stopping of pain and inflammation, especially in diseases of the musculoskeletal system, unbearable pain in the joints in arthritis and arthrosis. It blocks the formation of pain mediators - prostaglandins.

NSAIDs may or may not contain acids. Depending on this, they are divided into acids and non-acid derivatives. Acids include salicypates (for example, aspirin), pyrazolidines, diclofenac is a derivative of phenylacetic acid, oxicams (for example, piroxicam), derivatives of prolionic acid (ketoprofen, ibuprofen). Non-acid derivatives include sulfonamide derivatives, as well as alkanones.

It should be said that diclofenac competes with drugs from other groups today, but it is the most affordable. Although oxicams have a long-term (up to 12 hours) analgesic effect, many patients cannot afford them. Elderly patients often suffer from joint damage, so diclofenac, despite the side effects, is chosen by them because of its low price. The dose for elderly people should be increased gradually, relatives should be familiar with the instructions for the drug, know about the side effects. If you take diclofenac in tablets, wash it down with plenty of water. Other drinks cannot be used. Do not drink alcohol during treatment to spare the stomach. If you have previously suffered from gastritis or colitis, Evinopon is not suitable for your treatment. Moreover, it is unacceptable to prescribe drugs with diclofenac during the active stage of gastritis, ulcers or colitis.

An alternative to diclofenac in the treatment of arthritis and arthrosis can be Ketoprofen in the form of tablets, solution, aerosol or Nimesulide. Movalis is considered the latest generation drug - doctors prescribe it when very long-term treatment is needed, for several years. Movalis is available in the form of suppositories, injection solution, ointment, tablets. Do not forget with arthritis and arthrosis not only to take anti-inflammatory diseases, but also to influence the cause of the disease with chondroprotectors. If you drink diclofenac for a headache, you should also find out its cause, and only then treat it.

Another group of new generation drugs of interest to patients with arthritis and arthrosis are more advanced drugs with an increased half-life and a minimum of side effects - oxicams. The effect of these drugs is longer than that of diclofenac drugs, so there is no need to take them more than once a day. Pain relief lasts 12-14 hours. But again, these drugs only relieve inflammation, and do not affect cartilage. Rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, unfortunately, remain among the main causes of pain for modern people. The problem requires a comprehensive solution, it is necessary to eliminate the cause, and not to dull the pain. Pain, of course, is the most painful symptom of any disease. Often, insufficiently effective pain therapy pushes people to use dietary supplements - very dubious drugs that official medicine does not classify as drugs, or even turn to traditional healers, among whom there are only a few who really help people.

The doctor evaluates the safety of NSAID therapy based on criteria such as the risk of developing gastropathy and dyspepsia, as well as cardiovascular complications. It is important to clearly assess the possible risks, especially those related to the effect of NSAIDs on the heart and blood vessels. The safety of NSAIDs is assessed during clinical trials and long-term observation of a large number of patients. The maximum risk of life-threatening gastrointestinal complications is not associated with the drug Evinopon. During the trials and experience of use, it was found that such complications most often occurred when prescribing Ketoprofen. At the same time, it turned out that aceclofenac causes side effects even less often than diclofenac. To minimize the occurrence of bleeding in the stomach and intestines in patients at risk, the doctor may prescribe celecoxib instead of diclofenac. Patients taking this drug have a significantly lower incidence of endoscopic ulcers. A clinical study, during which patients underwent endoscopy before and after treatment with the drug, confirmed that celecoxib is optimal for use in patients from the "risk group". It causes gastric ulcers, gastric and intestinal bleeding several times less often than diclofenac. During the clinical study, it was proven that with treatment with celecoxib, relapses of gastrointestinal ulcers occur less often than when prescribing diclofenac to the patient under the cover of a gastroprotector. When the risk of developing gastropathy is extremely high, the doctor can prescribe a gastroprotector and during treatment with celecoxib. However, such a need arises extremely rarely.

It is also necessary to pay attention to other side effects of NSAIDs: aseptic meningitis, depression, hearing and vision loss. Separately, we would like to draw attention to the fact that Evinopon and other diclofenac preparations, despite all their shortcomings, rarely harm the liver. The same cannot be said about the widely used paracetamol. Tablet forms of diclofenac are more aggressive to the liver. The issue of NSAID safety for the liver at one time became the cause of a wide discussion in scientific medical circles. Today, it can be said that any drug puts a strain on the liver, especially if it is taken for a long time in the form of tablets and capsules. To protect the liver in situations of its extreme vulnerability, with an aggravated medical history, it is necessary to choose diclofenac in the form of injections or droppers. Diclofenac can increase the level of transaminases in the blood, but during clinical trials of the drug, no cases of an increased risk of serious liver damage and related complications were recorded. The patients never needed hospitalization or any additional assistance. Dangerous side effects from the liver when taking Evinopon can be observed only in cases of non-compliance by the patient with recommendations regarding drug compatibility. And also if the patient ignored the doctor's recommendation not to drink alcohol during treatment. Side effects when taking several NSAIDs at the same time often add up. Therefore, it is so important to be aware of the harmfulness of self-medication.

In the hands of a specialist, Evinopon, oxicams and other NSAIDs are convenient means to improve the quality of life. They are widely used not only for pain relief and inflammation relief in orthopedic practice, but also in neurological pathology and in oncology to relieve unbearable pain in cancer patients. Before the advent of NSAIDs, doctors were forced to prescribe narcotic drugs. They quickly become addictive, which is not typical for NSAIDs. These drugs are safe when taken correctly. If you take into account the patient's characteristics, the risk of developing erosions and gastric bleeding is minimal. The advantage of Evinopon is in its release form. Due to the fact that it is administered in the form of injections or droppers, its effect is more powerful in comparison with diclofenac tablets and ointments. In our country, it has recently become common practice to prescribe NSAIDs in the form of intramuscular and intravenous injections for a short period, and then switch to tablets and ointments.

Evinopon injection does not contain steroids, but acts on the process of prostaglandin formation, relieving signs of inflammation. It fights pain almost as effectively as narcotic painkillers.

Use Evinopone during pregnancy

Evinopon is prohibited during pregnancy and breastfeeding. There are data on premature closure of the Botallo duct in newborns, renal complications in the fetus and premature birth associated with the use of diclofenac. Evinopon can be replaced with paracetamol, however, it is necessary to strictly adhere to the dosage, since it is known to have a negative effect on liver function. The use of Evinopon in the first trimester of pregnancy increases the risk of miscarriage. Therefore, doctors do not recommend Evinopon to pregnant women.

Contraindications

Evinopon should not be taken if there is sensitivity to diclofenac, ibuprofen or auxiliary components of Evinopon, with gastric or intestinal ulcer in the acute stage, with cerebral bleeding, cardiac, renal, hepatic insufficiency and urticaria, Crohn's disease, liver cirrhosis, ascites, with disorders of the blood coagulation system and hemostasis disorders, under the age of 18 years.

Interactions with other drugs

Evinopon promotes an increase in the concentration of lithium and digoxin in the plasma, increasing their toxicity. Reduces the effectiveness of diuretics. Does not affect the action of oral hypoglycemic drugs. Aspirin reduces the concentration of Evinopon in the blood. Evinopon increases the toxicity of cyclosporine. Colestipol reduces the absorption of diclofenac by a third. Rifampicin and phentoin reduce the concentration of diclofenac in the plasma. Convulsions have been observed with simultaneous administration with quinoline derivatives. Diclofenac should not be combined with other NSAIDs. Diclofenac tends to retain sodium and fluid in the body. Medicines that block tubular secretion increase the toxicity of diclofenac. Evinopon weakens the effect of some sleeping pills.
