Pharmacodynamics

The pharmacodynamic properties of Decamevit are determined by the composition of the drug:

  • Vit. A – supports the physiological function of the retina, participates in cell division, strengthens the immune defense. Favors the strengthening of cell walls, protecting them from the introduction of infectious agents. Promotes hematopoiesis;
  • Vit. B¹ - promotes the production of energy from food consumed, necessary for complete protein and lipid metabolism;
  • Vit. B² - a powerful antioxidant, stops the impact of free radicals on the body. It is important for the normal course of metabolic processes, affects vision and lens adaptation in the dark. Protects the eye from the damaging effects of UV radiation, ensures the transition of iron into hemoglobin cells;
  • Vit. B³ - actively participates in oxidation-reduction processes, in obtaining energy from lipids and carbohydrates, affects the ability of the digestive tract to peristalsis, improves metabolic processes and tissue trophism;
  • Vit. B6 is an important element for the normal course of most chemical reactions in the body. It takes part in the production of serotonin, which, in turn, has a positive effect on a person’s emotional stability, sleep and appetite. It stabilizes the work of sex hormones;
  • Vit. Bc – takes part in amino acid and nucleic acid metabolism, is important for hematopoietic processes;
  • Vit. B¹² - promotes the development and restoration of damaged tissue structures. The presence of the vitamin is required for stable CNS function and for the production of hemoglobin;
  • Vit. C – has antioxidant properties, protects cells from damage by free radicals. Helps in the production of collagen fibers, norepinephrine, carnitine, and also in the conversion of cholesterol into bile components;
  • Vit. E – prevents the oxidation of fats and lipoproteins, has a positive effect on the state of the immune defense and the vascular wall.
