Decamewith is a popular representative of multivitamin preparations. Contains a rich set of vitamins without mineral composition.
Indications of the decamewith
- Hypovitaminosis and vitamin deficiency (deficiency or lack of vitamin substances in the body).
- Strengthening of immune defense and acceleration of metabolic processes, especially in elderly patients.
- Physical and mental overload, chronic fatigue, sleep disorders.
- The initial and middle stages of atherosclerotic changes in the vessels, hypertension.
- The recovery period after long-term illnesses, including after antibiotic therapy or chemotherapy.
Release form
Decamewith is produced in a tablet-shaped smooth convex form. The tablets have a protective film coating of yellow color.
The package contains 20 tablets.
The active components of the drug are:
- retinol (A) - 2 mg;
- tocopherol (E) - 10 mg;
- cyanocobalamin (B¹²) - 100 μg;
- thiamine hydrochloride (B¹) -2 mg;
- riboflavin (B?) - 10 mg;
- pyridoxine (B6) 20 mg;
- folic acid (Bc) - 2 mg;
- ascorbic acid (C) 200 mg;
- thiamine hydrobromide 2.58 mg;
- nicotinamide (PP) - 50 mg;
- rutoside (P) - 20 mg;
- methionine - 200 mg.
Pharmacodynamics
Pharmacodynamic properties of Decamewith are determined by the composition of the drug:
- Vit. A - supports the physiological function of the eye retina, takes part in the cell division, strengthens the immune defense. Helps strengthen the cell walls, protecting them from the introduction of infectious agents. Helps hemopoiesis;
- Vit. B¹ - promotes energy production from consumed food, is necessary for full-fledged protein and lipid metabolism;
- Vit. B² - a powerful antioxidant, stops the effect on the body of free radicals. Important for the normal course of metabolic processes, affects the vision and adaptation of the lens in the dark. It protects the eye from damaging effects of UV radiation, ensures the transition of iron to hemoglobin cells;
- Vit. B³ - actively participates in oxidation-reduction processes, in obtaining energy from lipids and carbohydrates, affects the ability of the digestive tract to peristalsis, improves metabolic processes and trophic tissue;
- Vit. B6 is an important element for the normal course of most chemical reactions in the body. He takes part in the development of serotonin, which, in turn, positively affects the emotional stability of a person, his sleep and appetite. Stabilizes the work of sex hormones;
- Vit. Bc - takes part in amino acid and nucleic acid metabolism, is important for blood-forming processes;
- Vit. B¹² - favors the development and restoration of damaged tissue structures. The presence of a vitamin is required for stable function of the central nervous system and for hemoglobin production;
- Vit. C - has antioxidant properties, protects cells from damage by free radicals. Helps in the production of collagen fibers, norepinephrine, carnitine, and also in the conversion of cholesterol into bile components;
- Vit. E - prevents oxidation of fats and lipoproteins, positively affects the state of the immune defense and the vascular wall.
Pharmacokinetics
The action of Decamewith is due to the combination of the properties of its constituents. For this reason, pharmacokinetic studies are not possible. All the kinetic properties of the components can not be tracked using tags and biological experiments.
Dosing and administration
Decamewith is recommended to be taken in the amount of one tablet up to 2 times a day after meals. Duration of treatment is 20 days. The course of taking Decamewith can be repeated after 2-3 months.

Use of the decamewith during pregnancy
The use of decamévit during pregnancy and breastfeeding is allowed, but is undesirable, because of a possible overdose of retinol acetate, which can adversely affect the development of the fetus.
During pregnancy and lactation, it is recommended to take specially developed vitamin complexes for pregnant and lactating women.
Contraindications
The drug is not prescribed:
- with a tendency to allergic reactions to the components of Decamewith;
- with severe kidney damage;
- with chronic leukemia, thromboembolism, increased number of erythrocytes or uric acid in the blood, with gout;
- at aversion to fructose;
- with increased content of vitamins E and A;
- with the syndrome of impaired intestinal absorption of glucose-galactose;
- with the chronic form of glomerulonephritis;
- in acute peptic ulcer.
Side effects of the decamewith
Side effects are relatively rare and manifest mainly allergic reactions to the medication. Such reactions are expressed by itching rashes of redness of individual skin areas.
When using a multivitamin drug, it is possible to stain the urinary secretions in a rich yellow color: after the drug is taken, this symptom disappears completely.
With prolonged unjustified reception of Decamewith, one can notice the development of the following symptoms:
- heartburn, gastritis;
- numbness of limbs;
- increased uric acid in the blood;
- dry skin, deterioration of the hair, dandruff;
- kidney work disorder.

Overdose
When an overdose of multivitamins (which is extremely rare), you can observe the following symptoms:
- allergic reactions;
- dyspeptic disorders;
- irritability;
- deterioration of the hair and skin.
At the first signs of an overdose it is necessary to cancel taking the drug. It is recommended to drink a large amount of pure water, you can take activated charcoal or Sorbex.
Interactions with other drugs
Decamewith is not prescribed concomitantly with other multivitamin preparations to prevent a possible overdose and hypervitaminosis.
Joint use of vitamin and sorbent drugs significantly reduces the absorption of vitamins.

Storage conditions
Decamewith is stored in cool, dry and dark places, without the admission of children.
