Daleron C has an antipyretic effect and also effectively eliminates fever symptoms (pain, aches, etc.). As a rule, the drug is used to reduce high temperatures during colds.
Daleron C effectively eliminates cold and flu symptoms and improves the patient's condition. Due to the complex composition of the drug, the body's immune forces are increased and the temperature is reduced.
Indications Daleron C
The medication is prescribed for fever accompanied by high temperature, muscle pain. The drug is indicated for viral or infectious diseases, effectively reduces muscle and joint pain during ARVI, and also eliminates headaches and other types of pain, soreness after injuries or surgeries.
Release form
Daleron C is produced in the form of yellow granules from which a warm drink is prepared for drinking.
Pharmacodynamics
Daleron C contains paracetamol and vitamin C.
Paracetamol effectively reduces temperature and eliminates pain caused by fever. The antipyretic effect of paracetamol is associated with its effect on the area of the brain (hypothalamus), which is responsible for regulating body temperature. Paracetamol stimulates blood circulation and increases sweating, it does not irritate the mucous membrane and can be used by patients with stomach diseases.
Vitamin C protects cells from death during oxidative processes in the body.
In case of inflammation of the throat or oral mucosa, medication in the form of a warm drink will help reduce discomfort.
Pharmacokinetics
Daleron C is absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract quite quickly, then the drug binds to blood proteins.
The metabolic process of paracetamol breakdown occurs mainly in the liver (a small part occurs in the kidneys and intestines).
The half-life of the drug is approximately 2-3 hours. A small portion of paracetamol is excreted unchanged in the urine, most of the substance is excreted by the kidneys in the form of glucuronides and sulfates, and a small portion can also be observed in the bile.
Vitamin C in the body is converted into dehydroascorbic acid during the oxidation process. After the process of partial metabolization, the substances are excreted by the kidneys.
Use Daleron C during pregnancy
Daleron C has not been tested on pregnant women, so the medication is prescribed only in case of extreme necessity. During pregnancy, it is advisable to take the medication for a short period, preferably once.
Overdose
Daleron C in case of exceeding the recommended dosage may cause nausea, liver dysfunction, especially in case of organ disease. The first signs of overdose may appear several days after taking the drug.

Interactions with other drugs
The simultaneous administration of Daleron C and warfarin, domperidone, metoclopramide, cholestyramine occurs with extreme caution.
The simultaneous combination of Daleron S with drugs containing paracetamol, as well as with rifampicin, antiepileptic drugs, chloramphenicol, barbiturates, is not recommended.
Storage conditions
Daleron S is recommended to be stored in a dark, dry place. The storage temperature should not be higher than 30 0 C. The drug should be kept away from children.

Shelf life
Daleron S is valid for three years from the date of manufacture of the drug. It is not recommended to use the product after the expiration date or if the storage conditions or integrity of the packaging are violated.
