Choleretic collection No. 2 is a mixture of herbal preparations that are used for diseases of the digestive system. The collection of natural components has a hepatotropic and choleretic effect.

Indications of choleretic collection No. 2
The use of choleretic collection No. 2 is indicated for the following pathologies:
- inflammatory processes in the gallbladder and liver tissue;
- inflammatory processes in the bile ducts ( cholangitis );
- dyspeptic symptoms in case of bile secretion disorders ( biliary dyskinesia );
- condition after surgery on the gallbladder, or postcholecystectomy syndrome.
Release form
Choleretic collection No. 2 is produced in the form of a dry yellow-green mixture of finely ground medicinal plants, packed in a cardboard box of 100 mg. The collection has a soft, pleasant herbal aroma.
The collection contains:
- immortelle inflorescence – 4 doses;
- yarrow raw materials – 2 dosages;
- mint leaf – 2 doses;
- coriander fruit - 2 doses.
Pharmacodynamics
The medicinal effect of choleretic collection No. 2 is due to the presence of essential oils, flavonoid glycosides (salipurpuroside, kaempferol, isosalipurpuroside), flavonoids (naringenin and apigenin), as well as vitamins C and K. Due to the active composition of the drug, bile secretion improves, the cholate-cholesterol coefficient and gallbladder tone increase. Spasms of the smooth muscles of the bile ducts are effectively relieved, the inflammatory process is stopped, the growth and development of microbial cells are inhibited. Patients feel relief from pain and dyspeptic manifestations.
The drug actively prevents bile stasis, improves metabolic processes in the liver, reduces the viscosity and relative density of bile, and reduces the total amount of cholesterol and bilirubin in it.
Pharmacokinetics
The pharmacokinetic properties of Choleretic collection No. 2 have not yet been studied.

Dosing and administration
Choleretic collection No. 2 is used to prepare an infusion for internal use. Take the infusion ½ cup three times a day half an hour before meals for 14-30 days.
Preparation of infusion:
- Two full tablespoons (10 g) of choleretic collection No. 2 must be poured into a saucepan and filled with 0.5 l of boiling water. Next, heat using a water bath for a quarter of an hour and leave for 40-50 minutes. Filter. Add boiled water to the resulting medicine to the full volume (0.5 l). Shake the infusion before use.
The medicine can be prepared in advance, but its storage in the refrigerator should not exceed 2 days.
Use of choleretic collection No. 2 during pregnancy
The use of Choleretic collection No. 2 during pregnancy, as well as while breastfeeding, is contraindicated.
Contraindications
Contraindications to the use of Choleretic collection No. 2 are obstructive jaundice or calculous cholecystitis with diagnosed stones more than 1 cm in diameter. The collection should also not be used in case of individual hypersensitivity to medicinal plants included in the collection, as well as pregnant and lactating women.
