Cholagogue No. 2 is a mixture of herbal preparations that are used in diseases of the digestive system. Collection of natural components has a hepatotropic and choleretic effect.

Indications of the choleretic collection number 2
The use of cholagogue No. 2 is indicated in the following pathologies:
- inflammatory processes in the gallbladder and liver tissues;
- inflammatory processes in the bile ducts ( cholangitis );
- Dyspeptic signs in cases of biliary tract disorders ( Dyskinesia of bile ducts );
- condition after surgery on the gallbladder, or postcholecystectomy syndrome.
Release form
Cholagogue No. 2 is available as a dry yellow-green mixture of finely divided medicinal plants, packed in a cardboard box of 100 mg. The collection has a mild pleasant herbal flavor.
The collection includes:
- inflorescence of immortelle - 4 dosages;
- raw yarrow - 2 doses;
- peppermint leaf - 2 doses;
- fruit of coriander - 2 doses.
Pharmacodynamics
The medicinal action of cholagogue No 2 is due to the presence of essential oils, flavonoidal glycosides (salipurpurozide, kaempferol, isosalipurpurozide), flavonoids (naringenin and apigenin), and vitamins C and K. Thanks to the active composition of the drug, bile secretion improves, cholate cholesterol coefficient and tone increase gallbladder. Effective relief of spasms of the smooth muscles of the biliary tract, the inflammatory process is suppressed, the growth and development of microbial cells is inhibited. Patients feel relief from pain and dyspeptic manifestations.
The drug actively prevents gallstones, improves metabolism in the liver, reduces the viscosity and relative density of bile, reduces the total amount of cholesterol and bilirubin in it.

The pharmacokinetic properties of cholagogue No. 2 have not yet been studied.

Dosing and administration
Cholagogue No. 2 is used to prepare infusions for internal administration. Take infusion of ½ cup three times a day for half an hour before meals for 14-30 days.
Preparation of the present:
- Two full tablespoons (10 g) of cholagogue No. 2 should be filled into a saucepan and poured with 0.5 liters of boiling water. Next, heat with a water bath for a quarter of an hour and stand for 40-50 minutes. We filter. The resulting drug is added to the full volume (0.5 liters) of boiled water. Shake before use.
The medicine can be prepared in advance, but its storage in the refrigerator should not exceed 2 days.
Use of the choleretic collection number 2 during pregnancy
The use of cholagogue No. 2 during pregnancy, as well as when breastfeeding the baby, is contraindicated.
Contraindications
Contraindications to the use of cholagogue No. 2 are obstructive jaundice or calculous cholecystitis with diagnosed stones more than 1 cm in diameter. Do not also use the collection with individual hypersensitivity to the medicinal plants that are part of the collection, as well as pregnant and lactating women.
