Dosing and administration
The method of administration and dosage of the drug depend on the form of the drug being taken.
If we talk about alcohol infusion, pharmacists recommend taking calendula flowers 20 drops three times a day.
It is recommended to take one or two tablets three times a day.
When using herbal decoctions (for rinsing and oral use), the procedure is carried out three to five times a day. Calendula flowers are brewed in the classic way. To obtain a decoction, brew one teaspoon of the herbal product in a glass of boiled water. If the plant is purchased at the pharmacy not as a loose dry product, but in the form of pressed briquettes, then it is enough to take one briquette for the same glass of boiling water. Place the container with water and herbs in a water bath and keep it on the fire for a quarter of an hour (from the moment of boiling). Set aside on the side and let it brew with the lid closed for another 45 minutes, then cool the decoction, strain. The medicine is ready for use.
