Dosing and administration

For coughs, bronchitis, bronchial asthma, and colds, the simplest but most effective medicines from wild rosemary are considered to be a decoction and infusion.

The decoction is prepared from 1 teaspoon of dry raw material and 1 glass of boiling water. The composition should be boiled for only 1-2 minutes, after which it should be infused for about half an hour. Take the decoction three times a day after meals. Single dose - 1 tbsp.

The infusion is prepared from 1 teaspoon of plant material and 2 glasses of boiling water. The composition is infused for 15-30 minutes in a warm place, after which it is taken in small doses throughout the day in a warm form with honey as a mucolytic and expectorant.

But the cold infusion acts more like an antitussive. The components are taken in the same proportions as for the hot infusion, only the water is cooled beforehand. In the evening, the wild rosemary raw material is poured with water, and after 9-10 hours it is filtered and used as directed half an hour after eating. Single dose - 100 ml. Frequency of administration - 2-3 times a day.

When coughing, it is possible to use young shoots of wild rosemary for inhalation. Take 15 g of dry grass per 250 ml of water and leave for 30-40 minutes. You need to breathe in the hot steam for 10-15 minutes. This is a very effective procedure, especially at the beginning of the disease, when a person suffers from a constant dry cough.
