It is more correct to call pimples on the buttocks pimples or rashes on the buttocks. However, even fairly famous people have not escaped such troubles; it is known that the founding father of the world communist movement, Karl Marx, periodically suffered from pimples on his soft spot, especially when he was finishing his titanic work called "Capital". In this regard, it is logical to assume that the root cause of irritation and rashes on the buttocks can be considered a long sedentary lifestyle. However, even ladies who do not bother themselves with mental work, which involves sitting for a long time at a desk or computer, also get pimples on their buttocks, disrupting the integrity of their brilliant, sophisticated image.

Of course, in winter such aesthetic defects are quite easy to disguise under clothes, but visiting a pool or beach in the middle of the summer season can cause unimaginable problems due to the obvious visibility of unsightly formations in the most interesting place. Why do pimples appear on the butt and what can be done to quickly neutralize them?

Causes butt pimples

  • Allergy to clothes that are uncomfortable for the skin of the buttocks. This may be irritation from synthetic underwear or a reaction to underwear that is too tight, uncomfortable, although fashionable and beautiful. Any item of underwear should be made of cotton fabric, which perfectly absorbs excess moisture and allows enough air to pass to the body, without creating a greenhouse effect.
  • Failure to observe personal hygiene rules regarding regular change and high-quality washing of underwear. Fungal microorganisms and dust mites can multiply in fabrics, which provoke the formation of acne on the buttocks.
  • Allergy to laundry detergent for underwear. Sometimes it is enough to change the advertised washing powder to regular soap without aromatic, synthetic fragrances in order to neutralize the unsightly rashes on the bottom.
  • Banal hypothermia, the habit of sitting on everything that comes your way, including cold parapets, concrete benches, dirty steps of stairs. Considering that many young ladies, and even representatives of the stronger sex, do not consider it possible to wear warm underwear in winter, sitting on a cold surface is guaranteed to lead to the formation of pimples on the buttocks, which can develop into boils.
  • Avitaminosis, microelement deficiency. As a rule, acne on such a delicate part of the body is a sign of a severe deficiency of vitamin D, vitamin and vitamins of group B. A harbinger of acne can be roughness of the skin of the buttocks, up to peeling.
  • Taking hormonal drugs, including oral contraceptives. Changes in hormonal levels can trigger acne on the chin, buttocks, and back.
  • Intoxication due to gastrointestinal tract dysfunction. The skin, as the largest excretory organ, tries to free the body from intoxication products, clogged pores do not allow toxins to escape, accumulating them in pimples.
  • Excessively dry skin on the buttocks. Oddly enough, the buttocks do not contain too much sebum (subcutaneous fat layer), the skin in these areas needs constant moisturizing. The lack of fat lubrication leads to irritation from completely natural mechanical friction (sitting, tight clothing), and then to acne. Acne on the butt can be quite deep at first, and then come to the surface in the form of pustules.

Treatment butt pimples

  • Strictly observe the rules of hygiene, both personal and in terms of regularly changing linen and properly treating it.
  • Replace washing powder with regular detergent when washing underwear.
  • Replace all synthetic underwear with underwear made from natural, cotton fabrics.
  • Dress appropriately, according to the season and weather conditions.
  • Avoid sitting on cold surfaces – benches, steps, parapets.
  • Regularly take vitamin and mineral complexes (Multitabs, Vitrum, Complevit, Alphabet, etc.), the body cannot be saturated with vitamins for future use, they do not have the property of accumulating, therefore their reserve must be constantly replenished.
  • Regulate the functioning of the digestive tract, at least temporarily give up sweet, spicy, salty dishes, you need to switch to foods rich in fiber, porridge, steamed vegetables.
  • Regularly moisturize the skin of the buttocks with a nourishing cream - this will help maintain the skin turgor. Moisturizing is necessary as a preventative measure against acne, and also effectively helps prevent another problem - cellulite. Panthenol has an excellent moisturizing effect and antiseptic action.
  • Spot-treat pimples on the buttocks with targeted pharmaceutical preparations - Zinerit, Fuziderm, Skinoren, Dalacin, Curiosin.
  • Spot-cauterize pimples on the buttocks with salicylic acid, without drying them out and without using the product for more than five days. You can make compresses with Chlorhexidine, but also for no more than three to five days.

Of course, pimples on the buttocks do not adorn a man, even if he is Karl Marx himself, and especially not a woman. However, not a single pimple on the buttocks remains forever and, in principle, does not cause inconvenience, except for aesthetic ones. Of course, we are talking about ordinary rashes, and not boils and abscesses that require medical attention. It is easy to distinguish them from simple pimples: furunculosis is much more painful, formations on the buttocks are usually purulent, often accompanied by extensive spread. Independent measures can lead to disastrous consequences - abscesses, which are removed surgically. All other pimples on the buttocks are quite easy to treat, the main thing is to remember simple rules - cleanliness, hydration, normal nutrition and no cold in the buttocks area. Then the pimples on the buttocks will disappear, and reproductive functions will be in order.
