Release form
Analgos is available in the form of a cream, in a tube of fifty grams, which is placed in a cardboard box. One gram of the cream contains fifty milligrams of capsaicin, two grams of propylnicotinate, two hundred milligrams of methyl salicylate, one hundred forty milligrams of methylparaben, sixty milligrams of propyl benzoate.
Pharmacodynamics
Analgos is a locally irritating medication. Fat-soluble substance propylnicotinate penetrates into the skin and there turns into nicotinic acid by cleavage. This process stimulates the appearance of vasodilation, increased blood microcirculation and increased local temperature. All of the above contributes to the analgesic effect with an average efficiency, which is achieved by blockade, which afferent nerve endings of the skin and internal organs are exposed.
Use Analgos during pregnancy
Application Analgos in this period is prohibited. The same prohibition applies to the interval of breastfeeding.
Contraindications
- The main contraindication to the use of Analgos is the presence of high sensitivity of the patient to one or several components of the drug.
- It is also forbidden to use the drug by patients under the age of twelve.
- Exclusion of the drug on the skin over the inflamed joints and in the area of open wounds.
Side effects Analgos
- Allergic manifestations - the appearance of redness of the skin at the site of the drug, an increase in local temperature, the appearance of itching, puffiness, as well as pustular rashes.
- Sometimes there is dyspnea and a decrease in blood pressure. Such side effects are possible when applying Analgos to large areas of skin.
Overdose
- There are symptoms of a strong lowering of blood pressure.
- Reduces the frequency of contractions of the heart muscle.
- When the drug Analgos enters the mouth, signs of irritation of the mucous membrane of the mouth appear, as well as respiratory disturbances and symptoms of cardiovascular insufficiency occur against the background of an increase in the anterial pressure.
- When symptoms of an overdose appear, you need to cleanse the skin from the drug. The same applies to the oral cavity of the patient.
- If a large amount of medicine has penetrated the oral cavity, then it is necessary to do a lavage of the stomach and use salt laxatives.
- Recommended use of symptomatic therapy.
Interactions with other drugs
With the simultaneous use of other medications for external use with a local irritant effect, as well as thermal procedures of physiotherapy can lead to a pronounced irritant effect on the skin. This effect is enhanced if large areas of the skin are exposed. In this case, there may be a strong fall in blood pressure, which can lead even to the collapse of the patient.
