Aloe extract is a medicine that affects the implementation of metabolic and digestive processes.
The drug stimulates metabolism, increases the speed of healing processes and has a general tonic and adaptogenic effect. It improves the processes of cell metabolism, tissue regeneration and trophism, and also increases the systemic nonspecific resistance of the body and the resistance of mucous membranes to the effects of damaging agents.
The medicine stimulates the protective activity of granulocytes and increases appetite. In addition, it increases the energy stores inside the sperm and their motility.
Indications Aloe extract
It is used to treat progressive myopia, conjunctivitis , iritis, myopic chorioretinitis, keratitis and blepharitis, as well as with clouding of the vitreous body .
In addition, it is prescribed in the combination therapy of ulcers affecting the gastrointestinal tract.
Release form
The release of the substance is realized in the form of a liquid extract for injections, inside 1 ml ampoules, 5 pieces each inside a cell package. Inside the box there are 2 such packages.
Dosing and administration
If a sediment appears inside the ampoule, shake it before opening to obtain a uniform suspension.
Aloe extract is applied by performing a s / c injection, every day:
- for an adult - 1 ml (on average, 3-4 ml per day);
- for a child 3-5 years old - 0.2-0.3 ml;
- for children over 5 years old - the dosage is 0.5 ml.
The therapeutic cycle includes 30-50 injections. It is allowed to perform the treatment again after a 2-3 month interval.
- Application for children
The medication is prescribed to persons over 3 years of age.
Use Aloe extract during pregnancy
It is impossible to prescribe Aloe extract for HS or pregnancy, because the principle of its therapeutic effect as a biogenic stimulant is extremely poorly understood.
Contraindications
The main contraindications:
- severe intolerance to the components of the drug;
- severe forms of lesions of the cardiovascular system and increased blood pressure;
- active forms of disorders in the gastrointestinal tract (among them diarrhea), ulcerative colitis, intestinal blockage, appendicitis, regional enteritis and abdominal pain of an unknown nature;
- renal / hepatic dysfunction, cholelithiasis, complicated nephrosis, cystitis and glomerulonephritis of a diffuse nature;
- hemorrhoids, metrorrhagia and hemoptysis.
Side effects Aloe extract
Among the side signs:
- digestive disorders: dyspepsia, sore throat and abdominal pain;
- problems with the function of the CVS: an increase in blood pressure values;
- immune damage: allergy symptoms, including rashes, flushing, urticaria and itching;
- others: rush of blood to the pelvic organs, dizziness, potentiation of menstruation, hyperthermia, burning and changes in the area of the injection (itching or hyperemia).
Interactions with other drugs
The drug potentiates the activity of iron drugs and substances that stimulate hematopoiesis.
The combined use of the drug with loop or thiazide diuretics, GCS and licorice drugs increases the likelihood of developing a lack of potassium.
Storage conditions
Aloe extract must be stored in a dark place out of the reach of small children. Temperature indicators - no more than 25 ° C.
Shelf life
Aloe extract can be used for a period of 36 months from the date of manufacture of the medicinal product.
